I am Argentinean, I like how refreshing your videos are and how you like to get involved with people, not just being a tourist or a nomad, you have become a real Argentinean! Also I like watching your videos (and other's too) because i like to see how other people see us and our country, sometimes, life it's too fast and everything happens and changes so much here that we as locals cannot enjoy simple or not so simple things from our cities and I know that of course some things are out of our range because what's cheap for you is expensive for us, but still it's nice to see someone appreciating and enjoying our country and our life!

I want to tell you this: Argentina se te mete debajo de la piel y te recorre la sangre y eso es para siempre. No importa adonde vayas ni lo lindo que pueda ser otro lugar, siempre vas a querer estar acá, estar con tu verdadero amor

Mate; I travelled touring with bands for 24 years (the last 6 years of it I didn't keep a permanent place), then came off the road and moved to Australia. I can tell you my feelings: home is where you are happy. Make it so for you.

Great job finding a place you truly love, Chris! Sounds like it needs to become your "home base" you always return to. I watch because I'm a kindred spirit, a fellow traveler/nomad (never lived outside the US, but that's my next thing!)

As a digital nomad myself, that is a great feeling to get, Christian! Argentina will pull you back when the time is right. But as a Brazilian, I must say that you're about to have the time of your life in Brazil, so don't miss it! And just party on the street blocos. No need to go see the parade (although that's a great privilege, if you're able to) I've never actually been to see the official parades. The streets will give you all you need! Here's to crossing paths one day. Cheers

I'm from Argentina but I've been living in your country for over 30 years. I guess we're mirroring each other in some way. Anywho I understand your enthusiast about Argentina and I'm happy for you. Newcomers mostly fall in love with Argentina. I haven't found anyone who doesn't so far. Probably there are some out there but it's certainly a captivating place for a foreigner. Over those 30 years I happened to live in Rio for a year (I was married to a brazilian woman) and quite frankly I found out that with all the beauty that city has to offer I couldn't make it my home. To me LA is my place in the world, I know many will disagree and in fact there's so much to bitch about it but I guess what I'm trying to say is "home it's where your heart is". Old cliche but as real as it gets. Enjoy my home country and have great time in the carnaval ( Watch out with those garotas😉)

Great video Christian! It’s refreshing to see videos such as this one that gives us viewers an inside look at your thoughts, not just what you’re seeing and doing at the moment. I greatly enjoy the channel and your content, especially the shorts about each country and the best tips to keep in mind when going. Also, I kid you not, you and I look very similar.

@@Christian.Grossi Yeah, no, absolutely! But it might severely affect your quality of life negatively in the following years, and you are gonna see some decay in the country as a whole. So you absolutely should try to keep the current landscape into consideration if you want to prevent it from affecting the things you love about the country. Ignoring the things going on around you could absolutely ruin your experience if you are not careful, i would hate for that to change your perception of this beautiful country

Idk, i just hope you don't fall in love with a country that no longer exists when you eventually come back, i tell you that as a venezuelan, one that grew up in a country that i can't return to, not because i physically can't, but because the country of then no longer exist, venezuela is slowly recovering socio-economically, bit you just can tell it will never again be the country it used to be. You can blame a lot of things, but it is not about looking for culprits. it about missing thing that can easily change while you are not looking
