I’m guessing it’s similar to how Celestia had 1,000 years of peace ruling alone before Nightmare Moon Returned. Twilight and friends have Equestria go through another thousand or so years of peace but then a big threat appeared that required a sacrifice of magic to defeat it. Then the tribes fought over the remaining magic. Because the Wendigos need magic to live they weren’t around to warn ponies about the dangers of them splitting up nor eternal winter. Or it’s similar to the pillars where they sacrificed themselves and disappeared leaving the ponies without a leader. They then fought over who should lead/ blaming the others on their disappearance.

I remember my little sister having phase for this show when she was 5 or 6. And I remember as a 11yr old or 10yr old I hated the show. But at around 2018/2019, I started liking it like how my sister did. This animation reminds me of who I was hating it and who I am now enjoying it, and the videos on KZbin related to it..

to think of all the friendships you made...the friendship u learn..the friendship u want to pass down from generation to generation only for it to all crash down and have all three races stay away from each other... history repeat.. or the past simply forgets so easily and true stories become myths and myth becomes legends and it has to take one per...pony to search the past to bring it to the presents to make way for the futures.

My theory is that she split the races so the new elements of harmony would not find their bearers... she didn't want anyone else to be a alicorn. Because she saw her friends die around her. And instead of having anything to do with the elements. She kept them away so nobody could be cursed with being a a alicorn. She was lost in her own grief.

I wish there was like a generation 4.5. Something in between G4 and G5 to fully explain what happened. To give us the bigger picture. Ik that probably won't happen, but there's just so much we don't know.

This is something that's been bugging me ever since the trailer. Celestia showed that Alicorns have very long lifespans, if not immortal. she was going strong the entire one thousand years Luna was imprisoned on the moon as if it was only a few days. the disappearance of the Alicorns, and even Discord and Spike, two beings who are also immortal or live long lives, raises alot of questions. this is like time traveling a week into the future and all of your friends are gone.

i have an idea for you you could make a My little pony movie with happy tree friends with celestia and luna in 20 years tired of retirement wanting to be princesses again traveling to the other side of the sea discovering that there is an Equestria for two discovering the world of happy tree Friends seeing a castle in the city and discovering that the one who rules there is the good shadow king of the mlp comics and that his friends are the characters of happy tree Friends, and there you can put the htf fan dame as citizens filler and that the villain is The Overlord of (Ninjago) and that he has his stone army and that there are also the mane 6 of the future in this new adventure and that The Overlord pretends to be his friend what a villain would do to get closer to the protagonist and tell them that celestia and luna were planning to be princesses again, and telling them that the shadow king was alive and that he was thinking of retiring and giving his place to celestia and luna twitlit and her friends travel to happy tree friends to see if that was real what she said just the day they were planning her coronation when they realized she was coming they can't do the coronation because of her presence only until she goes and the final battle is the same as in ninjago that in the first fight celestia and luna lose the first and then the real battle begins all the friends of htf and the creatures of equestria who are also friends and the mane 6 against the army of stone while celestia and luna are going to fight with overlord in his original form which is the dragon and obviously overlord loses in the same way but you are dead just try it, I just give you an idea. just try it and you will be better than anyone if you agree answer me
