We're going to try to upload a new version of the video in the next couple of days that better fits their community guidelines, with a heavy disclaimer at the beginning. Unfortunately, the video may have to be age-restricted for 18+ accounts but if that's the only way to safely have the film uploaded on the platform then it's worth it to us

Yt has gone downhill ever since they removed the dislike button. Ya’ll worked extremely hard on that film just to have it taken down because it “violated guidelines”. There was no cursing in this movie and you had to imply things for it to be dirty. SNL videos, for example don’t get taken down because of “guidelines” so I think that this is targeted at smaller creators. High schoolers like to watch stuff that is funny too lol. You shouldn’t have to make it restricted to 18+ just to get your funny content out there.

I'm honestly sad this happened to you guys. I've waited in anticipation to see the movie ever since I saw your first trailer for it over 4 months ago. I at least got the chance to watch it the Saturday before it got taken down, but I didn't expect to see it get removed. It's so disheartening to put months of hard work on a video only for KZbin to remove it, and I really hope it comes back intact.

To be honest, I would recommend putting an age restriction. The video is “Diary of the Wimpy Kid” which is a series targeted at children. By placing the age restriction and adding “Parody” somewhere along the lines within the title, it would also reduce the issue of copyright strike. Lastly, I would add a disclaimer in the beginning so it is fully aware that there are some mild themes, gore, profanity (if used), violence, drug use, and unrealistic pregnancy. Hopefully these suggestions help.

Totally valid. It is totally possible that a kid could click on it thinking it is not only legit, but kid friendly. Making it more clear that it is a parody and that it contains some mature content would probably be helpful

*I just saw an update video as to why this film hasn't been finished yet and It's disappointing that KZbin took it down when it didn't even violated any of the KZbin Community Guidelines.* I was looking forward to see the original video as it is, but due to KZbin's negligence they don't understand the difference between fan made, parody, or short film content and Hollywood content. Idgaf if they took it down if it's because of either *"blood"* or *"smoking"* KZbin should not be letting it's AI bots do the work and I said this time and time again on other websites like Twitter, KZbin should have a *HUMAN* to review the content because all AI's are good for is taking down content and putting it back up, not actually watching the video to review it if violated the community guidelines or not. *It's disappointing to see KZbin not keeping it's promises at times like this. Maybe Google buying KZbin back in November 2006 wasn't a good idea as I thought it was when I read it. Maybe KZbin should've stayed as an independent company. It's 2022 now, and this shouldn't continue any longer.*
