these are all just peoples speculations and not even true lmao.. GLAM was source music and bighit. Bighit still took in female trainees after GLAM disbanded, but decided to just focus on BTS because they were broke that time.. So some of those female trainees were transferred to Source. They are now in Gfriend. Bighit has a new CEO, they have two now. They did an interview recently and said they aren't avoiding debuting a gg, that's just what ended up happening. And girl groups can sell albums well and have big fandoms, he used IZONE as an example. And also said it was a possibility for the future and they're not avoiding it.

I'd like to say "I hope BIGHIT would realize not all female trainees are like them and invest on a female group too in the future" but I'm afraid with them dealing with BTS' immature or just simply ignorant fans. Back then when TXT is still rumored to debut, those types of armys began to comment something along the lines of ; "oh no, i don't want these boys to join BTS!!" , "BTS will always and forever be 7!!" "i don't want them to replace BTS!!", you get the point. Perhaps just the thought of girls interacting or having promotional stages together with their seniors may drive these possessive fans mad and crazy, think about it. *EDIT* : (update about the new gg) BIGHIT is forming a new gg under a subsidary (not directly under them, but still on BIGHIT's control, like "The Black Label" and YG). We're in an impression that BIGHIT currently doesn't have any female trainees, so if they push the idea, they might open auditions. I can already see comments saying something along the lines of ; "ooHH BTS I'M COMING", you'd be blind to say you're not seeing any of those. I'M NOT MAKING ARMYS LOOK BAD, JUST WAKE UP AND ACCEPT THAT ALL FANDOMS, BIG OR SMALL, HAS A "DARK SIDE". The bigger the fandom is, the more bad apples it has, but that doesn't mean there aren't good or at least respectful ones. Geez, stop being so ignorant over your own so called, "fam". i think bighit should accept female trainees but they should be careful about who they accept and maybe do background checks for any possible saseang/criminal behavior. they can also do online auditions that include females and those who pass can do an audition at the company. i doubt that they would accept female trainees anytime soon though... edit: a comment i saw said that male trainees should get background checks too and i agree. at the time i was writing this comment i was thinking of female trainees and forgot about male trainees

I'm afraid if they ever debut a gg, they won't be that focused on hip hop. BTS are becoming softer and softer music-wise (even if they still have some great rap parts here and there but because they debuted as a hip hop group they still have great rappers) and TXT seems to be more of an allrounder and if this trend stays, I think this girl group would also become more of an allrounder. Agreed. Also I feel that having been "5 years" since having a girl group, would they have the ability to cater for a girl group? As their so used to having/managing male idol trainees. PLEDIS is a good example of boygroup success (SEVENTEEN & NU'EST) and leaving their female groups (PRISTIN & AFTERSCHOOL) in the shadows simply because of poor management. People jumping to assumptions about sasaengs and stuff like BH staff and trainers are stupid. Pretty sure they won't because gg just dont do as well as bg. It's just a risk not worth taking especially with their past experiences. Plus BH is doing what multistans wish other agencies would do. They aren't collecting idols and shoving them into some dungeon and ignoring them for their faves. BHs marketing of BTS is so on point, there is very little territory left uncharted. They have music, they have books and comics, they have games, they have merch and emoji. They cater to the fans like this and keep us well fed and utterly captivated with quality content. All of this takes a lot of time and a lot of money and they still strive to give us the best performances they can. Now that they have T×T, they'll have their hands full for a very long while. Hitman Bang isn't called Hitman for nothing.

The same year the groups contact was ending, Bcs of this shocking new the other members decided to not to renew their contact and ended their career in BigHit back then. Hope Bang Shihyuk won’t be afraid of debuting gg under Bighit and not in Source. He sees talent in trainees nobody does. Hope in 2022 Trainee a will debut and the following hopefully we will be able to hear the amazing girls.
