Good luck with the instrument rating. With regards to the Bravo Throttle, might I suggest an addon called Better Bravo Lights to ensure the throttle lights work properly. The official plugin to fix that is somewhat intermittent. My rudder pedal choice was Thrustmaster TPR. A bit pricey but definitely worth it.

@dazecm Thank you! I haven’t meddled with the Bravo lights yet. Will check the addon - appreciate the pointer. And….. I smiled when I saw your comment about TPR. I plugged in my TPR pedals today! It’s a very well made unit. I took some videos as I was setting it up, will feature it in one of the future uploads. Thank you for stopping by!

I have those same pedals and they are actually very good. One tip, you should use a Dremel, or similar tool, to cut the heel rests off the bottom of the pedals and smooth them out. This will allow you to rest your heels on the included kick plates so you can use the balls of your feet for rudder and anti-torque rotor control(for helicopters), and this will make a big difference in how they feel when you are flying. As for everything else, I too have the Alpha and Bravo, and was sort of interested in the Charlies but was starting to look elsewhere for new rudder pedals.

@ImpendingJoker Ah! Resting the foot on the footrest does feel much better. Hadn't thought of cutting the bottom off, but I might look into that now. Will save me six to seven hundred dollars, since I have been eyeing the TPR rudders :) Thanks for the suggestion!

@@StudentPilot4Life If you have been looking at the TPR pedals, I suggest you quit looking and buy them. They are fantastic. Everything else is Fisher Price.
