When "Kissing You" was out I was in a hair salon with my mother. It was in a building that had a nail salon connected next door. All of a sudden there was a big commotion in the nail salon. Keith Washington walked in for a manicure. Some women ran from hair salon to the nail salon. He was playing a music festival the next day. I went to the festival. He sang "Kissing You." After he finished he said "Whoa! That's a hard song to sing." He did a great job.

If someone were to be created who had the looks of Denzel Washington and the vocal abilities of Luther Vandross?!? ...Keith Washington is who he'd look like. As a guy, there's NO WAY that I'd ever want to be this talented and THAT good looking. It's just not a good combination for a married man. The married men I know--who are blessed to have both talent and striking good looks--have turbulent marital relationships; several ending in divorces. But: if you're just average looking, (like me!!), with just a lil' bit of talent (like me!!)...you'll be alright. Granted...random women won't be slipping you their phone numbers; but...you'll probably be able to stay married longer. 😊
