"The term is over: the holidays have begun. The dream is ended: this is the morning." - The Last Battle

I'm loving these. I'd love to see a video on Susan and Eustice and the other Friends of Narnia. I don't know if this series is only to cover the movies, but I'd like to see some non-movie book stuff of this please.

I must admit, that I think, that the most complex character in the Narnia series is Edmund, in my opinion. His change in the books and the movies was great displayed. I mean, he transformed from a mean little boy to an honorable young man, while Peter, Susan and Lucy were always on the good side

I agree; he had one of the most dramatic arcs, but I think Peter's is also notable-the way he was suddenly thrust into the role of parenthood among his siblings, in the war and then Narnia; how he's suddenly responsible for taking care of all of them, and of course they don't want him taking their parents' roles (he doesn't want, or intend, that either!). It's definitely more background, but it's also a pretty relatable struggle for some people. Edmund's journey is so awesome, and I remember as a kid reading what he said to Eustace (just that he had been an a** when they first came to Narnia) and that's when it felt he really had come full circle for me. Pardon my nerd, I loved those books.

I wish they had made all 7 books into movies, instead of condensing them.

I wish the BBC had done all 7 books in the 1980's-90's the adaptation of the books they did were much more book accurate than Disney's version.

Whoever was narrating this video didn't fact check that the Professor's last name was Kirke and is pronounced with a silent "E", there was no A or "A" sound.

@@HeatherNickless-vt8zr I’m sure the programmers are working on it, however in the meantime, it seems to be pronouncing how the word is spelled and not taking into account inflections or dialects.

There is great variety in each of C S Lewis books. 'The Last Battle' was the darkest book I had ever read at 12

And we shall cast our crowns before the Lion on the throne saying, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. If you are expecting to get an answer to the question that's not what this is. It's just a summary of what people who have read the books already know.

My question is besides the Pevensies & the first King & Queen of Narnia from book one & the known Kings who else ruled narnia

Is the narrator AI? Why would an English speaker say “Professor Keer-ker”?

You got some things wrong You jumped from the first story to the last story you missed. The voyage of the dawn treader You missed a horse and his boy. You missed the magicians nephew. You missed the Silver chair. All these stories are part of the Narnian saga. And Prince Caspian followed Peter Susan Edmond and Lucy on the Narnian throne Jill and Eustace had the silver chair adventure. Before the story of the last battle. Professor Diggory Kirk was the magicians nephew which was the story written as a prequel to the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe .

Of course they went from the second book to the last. The video is about Peter, who didn’t appear in any of the others.
@LilyanaPaden9 күн бұрын
No they didn’t, Peter was only in the first two stories and the last one

I don't remember the last book being the way they described it... But then I stopped really reading the books and gave them all away when I realized just how Evangelical they tended to be,

King Peter was mentioned in a Horse and his Boy. Where Susan was on a diplomatic mission Peter was also mentioned in the two stories Lucy was in though the mention was brief

I have only seen the movies so far and they actually feel a lot like a stepped down version of Lord Of The Rings to me. Especially with the battles and the whole lost King/Queen stuff. The end kind of confused me, like.. What the hell happend? They died in a train accident and then came back in Narnia? Or am I getting something wrong here? Definitley should try to get my hands on the audiobooks or the printed version xD

The White Witch of Narnia was just another Grand Moff Tarkin.

Except that The White Witch predates Tarkin by over a decade. Also, the better comparison would be Palpatine was just another White Witch of Narnia.
