Still remember the Knicks taking him over Dennis Smith Jr and to me that Stunted both their careers. Funny because Frank eventually went to Dallas and DSJ eventually played for the Knicks. But by then it was too late for both

His developmental career was over the moment he was drafted by the Knicks. Those late 2010s Knicks were horrendous with player development, especially David Fizdale, whose idea of development was “here’s 35 minutes on the floor, knock yourself out”.

I disagree ass a Knicks fan here. Frank was always scared to shoot. He can be wide open and still hesitate and pass the ball. Crowd would yell SHOOT! SHOOT. Frank pass the ball and you can hear the crowd frustration.

I think he is the definition of drafted to the wrong team. You can tell he was used to playing in stability rather than figuring things out by himself. Which he had to do in New York. If he was drafted by a team that’s known to develop players well like the spurs for example would he be better? It’s hard to tell since that’s just a what if situation. It sucks though because he definitely had nba level defense and size.

Wholeheartedly feel like if him and DSJ swapped where they got drafted to their careers would’ve been drastically different , I know they both ended up on the other respective team down the line but where you get drafted to and your rookie define a lot of your career , Frank definitely could’ve been the complementary defensive peace to Luka the next year and could’ve developed better besides him while DSJ would’ve been the highlight guard NY needed at that time and who knows maybe they would’ve been more lenient in his development if they know they took him as opposed to him being traded there in the midst of NYs worst years , still believe they were drafted incorrectly and would’ve been in totally different situations then they are now

He and KP was the best two man combo on the team during his rookie season and they were a dynamic combo. Trading KP stunted him big time. They never gave him the full chance. The coaches literally gave ten other guards legit chances to start and take control of the offense, but never Frank. I was one of the last people on Ntilikina Isand. Was a shame the way it went.

As a Knicks Fan I thought he had a great chance to be a Two-Way. Til this day I believe that Frank & Kevin Knox were drafted to play along side Kristaps. When Kristaps went down with injury and then later traded there was no place for him or Kevin Knox. What plagued Frank's game was being extremely Raw & Injury prone.
