I like the movie as a guilty pleasure, but I personally think it was a lost opportunity to something much more worthwhile. However, the film is what it is. I do like your suggestion though on the direction a possible sequel might have taken. It would show that the normal predators might be more intelligent and forward thinking than the wild 'super'predators who seem more savage and primitive.

I would have preferred and ending where OG and Isabelle had to team up against The big one. With Royce getting blown up. Hopefully the twist of Royce biting the dust would offset the complaints of it being too Cliche for them having a team up.

I''d like to see them gain even more respect from the Predators, be gifted their own clan, and entry into the predator culture. Imagine they just slaying so many things in their time, the predators eventually gather more and more humans too. Most die but a few from each group survive and join royce&izzy. Eventually they have a small army, a clan. Some predators think that theyve become too powerful and they should unfairly destroy the humans, others think they have earned a spot in their culture. They begin a ritual to bring the humans into the fold but the angry predators attack. The humans must fight off the 'bad' predators and in doing so, cement their place in the predator hierarchy. Eventully we could see a human predator clan, much like that one female human predator. All just fan nonsense and wishful thinking, so no need to poke holes in it :P

That's a really interesting idea. If the predators are willing to gift armor to a single human who has proven worthy...maybe a small human "clan" that manages to prove worthy could earn a ship too.

That's a cool idea, it could also work out that maybe the two of them eventually family it up and start a tribe, with the yautja monitoring their lives and progress, testing how humanity could survive on yautja terms - having their own grasp of advanced technology, while throwing them back into survival mode against alien creatures and threats. Over time yautja could cultivate a human population on this preserve world, conditioned to be more like them, armed like them, and perhaps eventually willing to fight with them. As in AvP they can show humans due respect and fight others with them, and obviously acknowledge if there is any race they've found worthy of a 'confederation' it would be humanity. Plus if you groom some like this and gear them with translators, then they could send them to be 'diplomats'. And of course for a movie plot, doing something like.. imprisoning the 'chosen ones' and taking their custom gear would probably offend the Elders ;) Lots of ass to kick at that point, and the strange twist of yautja freeing their human-allied 'agents'. Immersion with a clan could be interesting, as well.

The only issue is that all that happens in Predator movie universe, which includes now both Predator solo movies AND the AvP movies, is all in present day. Although AvP 2 and The Predator left indications of Predator technology ending up in human hands, the Predator universe would have to go through drastic changes to fit the futuristic universe present in the AvP comics. It would be great if they finally made a new AvP movie happening further into the future like after 2030, where at least that futuristic world wouldn’t be too farfetched to exist.

Predator Royce fighting a giant Predator on his own should be the climax, but the rest of the movie should have an entire new set of characters joining them against the new class of Predators. Maybe have Isabelle be one of the last survivors and her leaving to Earth while Royce stays to hold off the Predators alone, where he manages to defeat them and either get taken by the Elite Predator to their homeworld or left to wait for the next season. Whatever happens in this story has to work on its own and set up what is going to happen at the third chapter. I would love to see Royce as a solo hunter going crazy like Noland.

Problem is the mentality of Hollywood these days. They're way too focused on over arching MARVEL esk story lines and also way too interested in 'Jazzing' up franchises. rajesh dutta probably because rodriguez didn't create an original movie, predators was highly predictible, lots of similar scenes to predator and christ he even stole dialogue from predator. Don't get me wrong, I like predators, it was half decent but predator I love as it was an original idead. I'm very glad that Shane Black has written The Predator since he had a huge hand and starred in the original masterpiece. I found the worst thing about Predators was most of Royce's dialogue, especially nearer the end of the movie, straight up stole Dutch's lines, "come on i'm here, kill me, come on" soooooo silly, would have been better if they took the brave route and had the predator tear out Royce's spine rather than same old same old, hero wins, beats the oversized over muscled alien and gets the girl.

You could easily kill or seriously injure a bull with M-4A1 whereas you can't with Yautja in predator 2 that took multiple shots from Danny Glover M-4A1 & remmington shot gun. A katana sword can't cut off a bull in single slice, this means it can't do so on Yautja. That Yakuza managed to slice the Yautja in The Predator movie, it will only cause skin deep cut or slightly more, can't even inflict serious injury

I like the movie a lot. So the comic explored their relationship. I hope the next story is about them, after learning from past experiece, recruiting new member to go agints the predators. Then the final battle of wits and strategy.

..perhaps they earn the respect of the predators, for overtly surviving so long( like danny glover in predator 2) and they let them join them? or perhaps they win their freedom.... There also seemed to be some sort of civil war within the predators, what with them killing each other in at least two of the films...perhaps they get to join one of the factions?

The Predators running the "game ranch" are not the type that one earns the respect of, they are basicly the nazis of the Predator cosmic empire. They already to a degree earned the respect of the one predator that was captured, there may be a hope that they either get the drop on the asshole dishonourable biohacking Predators or they get jail breaked by the honourable Predators that respected Danny Glover's character with an ancient human weapon from a pirate.

The whole respect thing is alright, just don’t let them band together Batman and Robin style like they did in AvP (2004). Predators are extremely proud warriors, preferring to fight their own kind over their survival, that’s what makes them interesting among all creatures of sci-fi horror and pop culture. They only fight by the side of one of their own and as a beginner. Yes, I know Predators in the comics tend to do that a lot, but those to me make as much sense as a human joining a chimpanzee in a fight, it’s ridiculous. You can be the most badass human, you’ll never be a Predator.

I'd like to see the story continue, see why the predators gave him customized armor, and didn't just kill Izzy outright, but left them as a team. Maybe they operate as loose teams or mated duos or something a little more complicated than I care to type about right now

I agree it would be probably the hardest test yet for them. I just don't think the Predators would ever risk transporting Xenemorphs to their own "game preserve". I think it would prove far too much of a risk for them than any potential gain they might receive.

Xenomorph attacks end either with an infestation or the entire place nuked. Yautja probably have specific locations for those, which the preserve doesn’t fit very well, jungles are too wide open.

I would say attempting to capture and transport a single Xenomorph to the planet would be considered suicidal. When there's one Xenomorph lurking behind the shadows there's always more. Also if the Xenomorph was successful in killing both Royce and Isabelle it could spell out potential threats on the game preserve and to the Bad Bloods. I believe a single Xenomorph can slowly cause an infestation on the planet if left alone, and it can also grow into a queen as well. Another thing is that the Bad Bloods would be following in the same footsteps as the other Predators, like we see in Alien vs Predator movie, where they'll want to hunt more of the Xenomorphs. It'll give them that thrill of the hunt and a worthy challenge, but at the same time it'll slowly decrease the Bad Bloods' populations.

I didn't know of this comic at all that's so cool. I hope we get some closure but that kinda felt like the end. Who knows it could go either way. It would be rad if that four armed Predator appeared in future installments!

I like to imagine them becoming the Adam and Eve of that world and from them comes a society of humans who are like Spartans that are apex predators. Children trained how to survive and hunt. The weak die before they reach adulthood. The strong live.

Frankly I find it a rather silly comic. But some people seem to enjoy it so good for them. But the comic's story gave me a distinctly 'comic story' vibe not a very 'predator one'. Making it feel as if it fitted in another universe entirely. Especially that 4 armed giant pred which is ridiculous.
