The entire section of gameplay from 57:47 to 1:04:13 is a reference to "FAITH: The Unholy Trinity", a game developed by AirdorfGames and published by New Blood, who also published ULTRAKILL! The core gameplay principles, artstyle, and even text-to-speech voice are all from FAITH, and the Areanea bossfight in this style is a reference specifically to a fight later in FAITH's storyline. EDIT: Upon further inspection, the "SPIRITUAL AWAKENING" achievement's description is "May your woes be many, and your days few.", which is a direct refence to the line Gabriel says when you defeat him in ULTRAKILL.

Honestly this seems like it could be its own game, but the undertale mechanics just were a "just make it a fangame" thing, tho some of the story is related to undertale so I imagine the fangame spawned out of an idea related to undertale in the first place, not "let's start making something, we'll figure out what it is about later" Honestly hope bullet-hell turn-based RPGs don't are looked down upon because "It's copying undertale/deltarune" as I want to make a game where the player can avoid all damage if they want to, and that is the only way other than just "defend and you'll take less damage", like Mario & Luigi and the Mother series, which are my inspirations rn for the battle system (other than Omori, and obviously the undertale series, I know, it's a lot of different styles)

Only ten minutes in and this is an awesome experience man, the story is very strange and just random but, the game has so much character, its just fun, and the mechanics are cool and creative as well, just well done overall All of it has been seen, what have I witnessed

The story does make sense, at least to me. Sans (now la jupo) is just done with everything and goes full deltarune secret boss, so he just does whatever the fuck. high explosives are also done with this whole arrangement, but where the fight was supposed to end we just go into a hypergod of death's mind palace, which is not recommended, so basically everything after first phase is just in this half cracked eggs head. And you are basically just trying (and ultimately failing) to stay sane in there. Ending happens, roll credits.

​@@goldend791 An entire genocide run happened, and for some reason the world wasn't destroyed, I forget, but seeing how Chara is still around probably means that the world wasn't destroyed. LA JUPO, is a test of Determination, a obstacle, as sans was in the Genocide run, something to overcome, while being that of destruction. Then I guess seeing how a Human destroyed entire Monsterkind, now you got a Monster trying to destroy Humankind. Complete flip of things, but in the end Chara destroyed everything, as were supposed to.

I've been looking up some basic things about La Jupo, nothing too deep, most definitive thing I've seen is that it translates to "the underskirt" or something similar to that, something weird I also found though, is that in the same google search, it said that "Jupo" in Japan is apparently used as an inappropriate "sound effect" during intimacy in manga, or something like that.
