Wait, what was the Nazgûl a stark reminder of? I'm not sure I'm following after the first 10 times the line was repeated ad nauseam. 🙄 I'm going to be harsh here. We are witnessing the death of art, writing, and self expression as a result of these lazy, poorly produced, and nefarious AI "content creators." It's sad because it's pushing out the incredible content creators, who put in actual effort. The ones with actual talent that script, voice, record, hire artists or share their own, etc. Is this really what we want becoming the norm and are we actually going to settle for it? As the recent saying goes. I want AI to do my laundry and dishes. Not to write my poetry or paint for me. But when you look at the dumbing down of content creation as a whole, due to AI taking over the creative process, it's depressing. It's getting to the point where impressionable people are losing literacy and are unable to discern this stuff from original work. We are slipping further and further into idiocracy.

Once the One Ring was destroyed the surviving 8 Nazgul's rings lost power like the 3 and the 7 and as they had lived far far beyond their mortal years they died and likely crumbled to dust, it cannot be known if they felt anything in the moment between being freed and dying.

I personally only watched the movies. But i like to think that they're lifeforce was maintained by the One Ring, since they're Rings were slaves to The One. So with the destruction of The One, either they're faded entirely, or they faded slowly, almost like being mortal again, until they faded entirely. Thought about it cause i was thinking of who could be the next big bad. Thought maybe Kahmûl could be since the Witch-King is dead, but he wouldn't be for long since the whole life force thing. Plus, they arent mentioned in Tolkien's New Shadow prologue. Can't be Sauraman cause he did make a Ring, but it was imperfect and a far cry from Sauron's, so his spirit is just displaced and formless and powerless. Honestly, Men are the next big bad. New Shadow was all about that. Arda is supposed to be out workd in a fantasy origin, so eventually, the world would become 🌎🌍 meaning, all history we know, like WW1 and WW2 and any other horrible event done or yet to be down by Man, is gonna happen. And thats because!; Morgoth! Morgoth made his own "ring"; Arda itself. He dispersed his power and soul into the very foundations of Arda, which is how black magic and neceomancy and stuff are even possible; its literally calling on Morgoth's power. And that power can still corrupt, not in a focused sense. More like sewping into whoever it can. Hence why we'd have evil people now and witchcraft and stuff i imagine

Defeated. And to be fair she wouldn’t have stood a chance of it wasn’t for Merry’s barrow blade. The whole “i am no man” doesn’t do anything to kill him Bc witchking’s spell makes him nigh invincible compared the Mortals(Mankind) on which he is counted with them no longer. The Ringwraith’s might be trapped to wear their rotting sinews & bones but they are irrevocably Dead just caught between not alive anymore and can’t die. So when Angmar was felled by Eowyn what was left of his spirit or him was utterly houseless as were the other 8 when mount doom Krakatoa'd off. Whether they may still pass through the halls of Mandos, remain behind as impotent shades, or join Morgoth in the void; we may never know. But their “deaths”/destructions weren’t their true end just the end to their tyranny on Arda.

The movie does not show his head being cut off. But the book clearly states that is how the battle ended for him. Hard to come back from that. Medusa in Greek mythology was immortal too, but died when her head was cut off by the hero. Cutting a head off is usually pretty final for most beings. Unless you are a necromancer, a god or goddess, or truly an immortal being of some kind that can NEVER die of ANYTHING head cutting off blows are typically final.

Bc the curse was broken, he’s still Bound to Sauron but now he’s free of his bones. THE NAZGÛL CANNOT BE DESTROYED UNTIL THE RING IS AS IT BOUND THEM TO SAURON.
