RIP Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank. Both of which were huge parts of my childhood via Power Rangers. I enjoy seeing the ensemble episodes that focus on showcasing the older rangers with the new ones. Forever Red was perhaps one of my favorite episodes, second only to Power Rangers: Super MegaForce - Legendary Battle. I hope they do something like Forever Red with the other ranger colors at some point in the near future. I get that the Red Ranger is always considered the leader, but shining a light on the other ranger colors would be cool as well. Yellow would definitely be difficult without Thuy Trang but I think Karan Ashley would make for a great stand in as she was part of the second season of Mighty Morphin.

As a 4 yo girl, the yellow ranger was my role model. For the Billy is the phantom Ranger Theory, considering the heavily mechanized themes of turbo, I like to believe that Even without any form of ranger morph, Billy cant just stand by and still tries to take on Divatox' minions and is critically injured and has to be physically fused to the Turbo power of the morphing grid to save his life. Hence the moniker "Phantom Ranger" owing to his artificially sustained exhistance (Which makes the theory that he goes on to serve as a sort of Zordon to future teams fit even better)

The concept of passing the torch, insanely powerful, good mentor that just create shit (Power, new Zords etc) because he can and never become irrelevant, the strong message of friendship and promotion of martial arts teachings (respect, honor, duty) this show was just off the chart. You reboot it as an animation for the better longevity and flexibility of the media, make it a bit more serious with no cheesiness, expand and tight up the lore and expended universe and it plow through anything we have today.

I'm a 2000s Kid, and the era of Ninja Storm - Megaforce is my childhood Power Rangers. With that said, while I'll always love that era, especially Dino Thunder, Operation Overdrive (I know, controversial) and Jungle Fury, MMPR is up there as one of my top 4 favourite PR Series, and I absolutely love the MMPR Team (Jason, Trini, Billy, Kimberly, Zack, Rocky, Adam, Aisha - yes, I love the Stone Canyon Trio too). In fact, call me old fashioned, but I honestly miss the days when it was just the MMPRs team, because back then the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were one of a kind. They were special. Nowadays, they don't feel that way, they just feel like another bunch of faces in a crowd to the point where I became hard-pressed to care about any future teams like the Beast Morphers team or the Dino Fury Team. I feel like Spider-Man's also suffering a similar fate as the Power Rangers with the oversaturation of Spider-Man Knock-offs, like Miles Morales, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Ham, Peni Parker, Spider-Gwen etc. and now Peter Parker doesn't feel special or unique anymore.

I honestly think modern power rangers would be more interesting if they would stop adapting every single sentai that is released year after year and instead pulled a MMPR and have 3 or 4 seasons for one set of rangers, making their own scenes with the suits like MMPR did in their later seasons. Having the cast carry over thru the seasons and evolving their powers is what, imo, puts MMPR at the top of the list of PR shows. I just can't get as into PR characters when I know they are just gonna be trashed after the season (or after the super season). But ya know, that's me as an old original day 1 PR fan. I'm not the target audience and that would be more work that they don't want to do or spend money on. Meh

Zordon was viewed as the ultimate good in the universe, whereas Rita was only evil due to being ripped away from her mother by her wretched father Master Vile & raised by him to be a villain just like himself. In contrast, Lord Zedd was purportedly an evil overlord from the onset, however marrying Rita had clearly softened him. Prime Zordon's self-sacrifice in "Countdown to Destruction" from _Power Rangers in Space_ purged both Rita Repulsa & Lord Zedd of their evilness, but not before their vengeful son Thrax was born. Rita Repulsa would later, in the main timeline, become the Mystic Mother goddess to the Mystic Force Rangers. In the alternative dystopian world inhabited by the irredeemable Lord Drakken (Tommy Oliver choosing to remain evil even after Rita's initial spell was broken & becoming too corrupt for his own good, since Lord Drakken is the only version of Tommy throughout the entirety of the Power Rangers lineup to be evil of his own volition, yet he still failed to understand why Rangers across the expanded multi-verse held revered respect for all of the other far nobler versions of Tommy over himself despite Lord Drakken nearly destroying the entire Morphin' Grid connecting several Power Ranger realities together), Lord Drakken kills his own timeline's version of Rita, who had become gullible in the midst of the success she was experiencing from living vicariously through Lord Drakken's domination of several Ranger realities, with Rita not fully realizing that Lord Drakken couldn't even bother trusting his own closest allies due to his severe paranoia, so he saw the witch as a possible future threat & promptly got rid of her before she could even consider betraying him. A) How long was the Peace Conference supposed to last? Seems silly to replace them if they'll only be gone for a few days. It's not like conferences go on for months at a time. B) Why couldn't they just teleport from the conference when they're needed? By the time of Jason's return in Power Rangers Zeo, the conference has been inferred to have ended, at least that is what I took from a line Jason says to Tommy during their workout at the youth center in one episode.

Main timeline Tommy was the White Ranger. The Wizard of Deception's Tommy clone was turned into the Evil Green Ranger, but just like his original counterpart before him, the Tommy clone was turned to the side of good. However, knowing two versions of himself couldn't exist in one single timeline, the Tommy clone decided to remain in colonial times (which is where The Wizard of Deception had sent the other Rangers to as a means of getting rid of them), thus making Tommy his own grandpa or something like that due to the Tommy clone (now named Tom to differentiate him from main timeline Tommy Oliver) basically becoming Tommy's ancestor.

Hi. As a long term fan of power rangers, just need to say, good job with the video. With the fact of the sword that transfered red blk and yellow. I always and still do believe it only copied not took away the powers as shown in previous pp shows. If needing to give up coins/morphers the teenagers can just hand over like kimberly and kat or when team gave goldar 5 coins to save their family. This explains why jason returned couple of times as red rangers. Just wish Zack got guest appearance instead of Adam.

Something I've always wondered is what happened to all the Zords. Did they get repurposed? Destroyed? I mean the Dragonzord comes out of a nearby ocean. Is it just at the bottom of the ocean rusting? Is there a canonical answer?

Yeah. In the Super Sentai Japanese anthology superhero kid's show Power Rangers was based upon, the Zords are like robotic animal guides. In the American Power Rangers, it's likely that Zordon fed the Zords their power through his connection to the Morphin' Grid. In the 3rd season of MMPR, Rito Revolto (Rita Repulsa's skeleton brother) & Goldar successfully destroyed the Thunder Zords, forcing the Rangers to seek out Ninjor, a robotic-looking ninja who was the one responsible for originally developing the Power Coins. Ninjor would teach each of the Rangers how to harness their inner "spirit animal", which would then become the source of their newfound Ninjetti powers. Eventually though, even this power couldn't be stable forever, so before uncovering the Zeo Crystals hidden beneath the Command Center (which was blown up by the villains, although Zordon & Alpha 5 survived due to escaping to the underground Power Chamber [the place where they had transformed Tommy into the White Ranger in season 2]), the Rangers underwent a mission for Alpha 5 that saw them travel far away to the planet of Edenoi (Alpha 5's home world, since the King was his original creator, meaning the lovable robot and other subsequent models like Alpha 6 created after him were basically surrogate siblings to the royal son, Prince Dex, whom the people of Edenoi & Kaman Rider/Masked Rider fans would recognize as the secret superhero, Kaman Rider/Masked Rider) to seek help against the villains threatening the Earth with their own giant Zord named Serpentara. Of the old Zords left, only Dragonzord remains from the MMPR seasons, since Tommy had sent it back to sea before the villains could destroy it or reprogram it once again to attack the Rangers.

Depends on what seasons. For example, the Original Zords were destroyed by Lord Zedd, however, Zordon and Alpha were able to harness and save enough of their energy to create the thunder zords. Then the Thunder Zords were destroyed later in MMPR so, technically, both the Original Zords and Thunder Zords, should no longer exist. But they show up in later team up episodes, so who knows lmfao. In other seasons, I assume the zords are still stored wherever they are called in from.

I'd like to see the as well. Y'know what, I actually liked the 2017 reboot a lot more than I thought that I would. It's not perfect, but it's still really entertaining. And I think that after they had established everything with the first movie, a sequel could have been really incredible. Too bad that it wasn't financially successful enough to warrant one. 😏

Well there is a simple explanation somewhat touched on in the boom studios series the copied morphers could be unable to be used due to the copy needed the power due to only enough power from the grid to have one of the morphers to function.

Master Vile reverses time in season 3. His powers where from a Coin and not a quest like the Ninjetti ones. So all he has to do is morph for the "first" time again. Or the gold powers rebooted his red coin wih all the energy being shoved into jason.
