REAL, VALID, SAME, I CACKLED. 😭 My favorite fairy design ever is Edie the Garden Fairy, she’s literally so adorable and I’ll never be over her… SO GLAD you’re talking about the Rainbow Magic! Another funny thing, when I was in first grade, I was one of the only kids that was pretty proficient at reading so everyone would bring me these fairy books like the goblin lackeys to my Jack Frost. “OOOH she reads CHAPTER BOOKS!” and they’d go grab them from our little first grade library as I sat on my plastic throne and would crack em open and just start reading with a pile of fairy books surrounding me (as I’d never be able to finish that many in a single 30minute reading period).

As someone who lives in the UK, these books were EVERYTHING. (At least to me) I was so convinced fairies existed, and I wanted them to find me so bad. Pet Fairies is my favorite of the series as well, the idea of pets being able to choose their owners is so awesome! Loved the ending of it too. I would play fairies with my other cousins when we were younger and we used the map at the beginning of the book as our world and we’d all pick a fairy to be it was so much fun! The orange fairy book from the rainbow fairy book was my first ever chapter book when I was 9. I was so proud of myself considering I struggled in reading and writing so much. Never finished the other books tho lol

I'm not even close to neither the uk nor the us, basically I'm in east Asia, but the other day I stumbled across this on the internet and my ENTIRE CHILDHOOD came back flooding in my head. I was devouring these books, but I forgot their names later on in life and never had the chance to look back:)))) such a weird feeling learning that it has got 300 books by now

This was my FAVORITE book series when I was younger!!! I remember that I couldn’t read them FULLY FULLY so I would imagine what’s happening half the time- until my grandma saw me and helped- Also I am SO happy you pointed out that their parents looked swapped I thought that SO much when I was younger-
