My main issue with how Raven is treated is how people hate her for something she HAS to do, and she's been bullied for the role she's supposed to play. Regardless of the fact that deep down she's a kind girl who wants peace. Like her father had a lasting influence on her, he was the parent she got along better with. But she has to deal with Duchess being a brat to her, Sparrow and his gang bullying her. Headmaster Grimm being a control freak because even if Raven is a Princess she's not a "Happily Ever After" Princess so she isn’t allowed to take a Muse-ic class because it's only for classic Princesses???? Ravens entire life is dictated by her destiny but in a negative way because she's supposed to sacrifice her personality, interests, and self-determination to be sentenced to a life of people hating her for something they WANT her to do! If Raven tries to be herself, she's treated cruelly and bullied by people, if she lives up to the role she doesn't want to play. She's damned if she does, damned if she doesn't! I love Apple a lot, she has so much character depth, but Apple fans can acknowledge Raven doesn't have it easy and the choices she's being asked to make for the sake of their "destinies" require her to live an unhappy life. She will recieve NO enjoyment or praise for doing what she's told. If she followed her destiny in the books she would LITERALLY have to give up her sense of self and interests. But that gets lost in the conversation somehow???? Like wtf??? I hate how fans reduce Ravens character to "i just wanna be edgey!" When that's not true, if Apple is complex so is Raven! It isn't black and white! The tv show erases so much of the EAH characters complexity but the books add so much character depth! So to see fans who read the books disregard Raven so easily is so sad!

By the way, I believe with all my heart, till the day i die, that if the book version of Giles Grimm had been set free instead of the show version he would have attacked Headmaster Grimm or called him out publicly instead of forgiving him! I don't care if it's not confirmed!

As someone who was very active when allegations against dream came out I have a lot of knowledge on them and they go super in depth and it’s very confusing with people being brought in who aren’t involved and a whole lot more, but to lay it out more simply by seeing the logs Dream himself has posted there’s a lot there to show Dream was definitely being gross. Dream seems to have a problem or had a problem with getting close with his fans (the fans who are known for being super hyper focused on him) and trying to get stuff out of them, if you catch my drift. Theres proof in the those logs of him talking about restaurants in Florida adding weight to him trying to fly out his fans to Florida. He was being very irresponsible with age, just assuming they were older or going “they had graduated” which doesn’t mean a lot. At best it’s gross negligence and at worst it’s predatory behavior. And tbh I’m inclined to believe the later due to the way his closest friend acted, (26 year old with an 18 year old girl he just met who was drunk.) and dream apparently was calling gumballs friends whores and trying to get girls it paints a super gross picture. Overall a great video I just wanted to talk about that part specifically because it’s kinda forgotten now. Wasted 2 years of my life being obsessed with a stupid Minecraft server only to find out the creators in it were certified freaks.

I swear if I showed 2020 me these allegations I would've have a fucking hernia and migraine at the same time from the Wilbur drama alone. When I got into the dsmp I was YOUNG (i will not say how young due to how much i value my privacy) but Dsmp was probably my most chronically online phase of everything, I watched every lore stream, I was heavily involved in the fandom and ever since shit started hitting the fan (never really touched drama with dream due to my uninterest in his content but still seeing it due to his affiliations with the streamers I did watch) I was honestly caught in this endless cycle of just "Oh my god [insert streamer] did WHAT?!?????" and then immediately falling down this rabbit hole of allegations and hate, and has since caused me to just watch ranboo and pray theyre at least just a decent human being and not secretly 2 evil abusive possums in a mask. Ive also limited my streamers from basically anyone who streamed dsmp ALLLLL the way down to 2 different people. (Ranboo and another minecraft youtuber) I have always loved minecraft and have always watched what content it has to offer (especially during its big boom of Rps in 2016-2018 including aphmau and little kelly/carly) I just hope that the ones I watch aren't bad people who let fame and fortune get to there head. i would actually argue that the reason the dreamsmp became so popular was that the SMPlive crew crashed and burned and there was an open niche for minecraft content. There was this "transition" period where everyone was comparing "old world" minecraft youtubers (like DanTDM, PopularMMOS, SkyDoesMinecraft, etc...) to the "new world" KZbinrs like Dream. it was like a minecraft renaissance.
