Great video! I’m the guy with the bone stock white YJ at the show. You may want to check out the Jeep Invasion at the Oak Ridge MX track in Garwin, IA East and North if Marshalltown near Tama. It’s a really good time with some great challenges, even for your monster Jeep. I don’t think I have enough engine life left to do it again this year, so I’m not going, but my son is trying to round up a group to go in his 4Runner. Good Luck!

I'm late to this video but I definitely understand the attraction to the Land Rover. I had a 2000 D2 that I really enjoyed, I loved the way it rode, the way it drove, the way it looked, etc but the engine and electrics just made it a giant POS. Wanted to swap in a 5.3 or 4.8 but ended up selling it. If I had the time and money to burn I would buy one with a blown engine for that purpose but I'll stick to Jeeps from now on I think haha.

Saw you stuck at the jeep show. Glad nothing got to damaged. My 2 cents is sell the jk, install the Dana 60 in the TJ, LS swap the rover.

I was shocked at how many people recognized me there and talked to me about video stuff and their Jeeps . I expected 1 or 2, but it was probably 15 different people which is just wild to me! I’m not that popular 😂 I spent a good chunk of both days talking. My daughter was getting irritated cause everyone kept stopping me to talk😂😂😂

It represents a lot of money that I had tagged for other stuff though that’s where the struggle is. That’s what my Land Rover is meant to be for but it needs an engine

no, I made a video recently trying to make a skid that connects the oil skid to the belly pan but it didnt go how I hoped. its like 3 videos back on the channel

Yeah, Land Rovers are overrated. I bought one years ago, a rather rare one (yellow with black markings) that needed a new engine (4.0L V-8). Got the thing for just under $2000. After spending a fortune on rebuilding the motor because NO ONE had a reman at the time, I barely recouped the cost of the motor.
