Well, as Crisalída and I exit the Cape Cod Canal, I am tempted to point the bow east and head over to see you guys! I have big news for you two. I may have found a work around for visa issues (Schengen Visa) that would have made it very hard to have any of my 90 days left by the time we got to Grease. Assuming we can get this to work, we might have to pay the $1800 cruising permit to enter. But it will be worth it to finally meet the two of you. CUOTO

I am so sorry to hear this, Captain Tim..... you mentioned that we humans do not like change & while that is true I feel like this is something more, something different & I don't believe for a minute that you've done wrong. I know you can't respond but you were very respectful in showing the community you work within & never mentioned the company as far as I remember. You brought your own style to your channel & I do believe this is your channel so there's a force hijacking your deal & call it what you will but I'm feeling a nefarious strong-arm. Y'know, in all reality, it is kind of a shame that regulations and internal rules are putting axe in the format you've always had. The various different angles, real-time narration, radio traffic, interactions with the crew, and so on, really are great recruiting videos for a very lucrative industry. I got shut down by corporate in 2020 and only because they posted a full-on HR mandate about zero filming on the flight deck. It broke my heart because it was nothing but me sticking my iPhone into the window and capturing timelapses of long-haul flights with some creative timing to lo-fi music, and the occasional injection of honestly random radio traffic. Two videos out of 420 you could spot a corporate logo, based on some early how-I-do-it videos people asked for, but that was it. I am VERY sorry you're dealing with this. You are true to your mission about being a maritime education channel through & through.
