My mother told me we were on a plane when I was 2 going back to the Bay (where I was born and where we lived in the early 90s) she said she noticed Dwayne on a plane we were on and said Hi and they talked and she said he also commented on how cute of a baby I was. @@dawnlockaby7737 I wouldn't say he "discovered" DC. The group had already been through lineup changes, group name changes and been signed and dropped by Elektra when he worked with them. They also had already worked with Daryl Simmons prior to then as well. Basically DC was a group that had been shopped around to labels for years by that point. What he did unequivocally do is help craft the sound of that initial album and his talent is on display there for sure.
