My husband and I have been thinking of moving there.He is filipino and white and I’m full filipino but never been to the Philippines and he has.We have business opportunities and both have family there, but I would miss my mom, nephews and nieces and sister terribly, but we already live a state away from them and see them 2-4 times a year.Besides that, I might have a culture shock but I’m willing to try it out.I think the hardest part is being away from the family I grew up with.Id love to be there where we have the city but also a tropical life, businesses and help people there, and my husband could spend a lot of time with us and be his own boss.We thought of Hawaii as well but salary is low, cost of living is high, and jobs are limited.idk what to do, but I like watching your videos and seeing Instagram posts! they are inspiring

Hello Roxell, I had the same thoughts and feelings before I moved abroad. Looking I don't regret it one bit. The life experiences you get being immersed in other cultures is irreplaceable. Plus you and your husband would have those together. I say go for it 😀

"Suits to Shorts to Suits"... name change? LOL. We too got a little burned out on the "provincial" island lifestyle and we did scout out the Pampanga and Zambales areas early last year, but now we are back on Guam where we have the island lifestyle with the beaches and coconuts and the city life at hand (what's a brownout! lol) We are waiting to return to Samar, but it will be for vacation purposes from here forward. Have a Happy Holidays!

Glad to see you back! I was stationed at Clark from 89-91. It was considered the most beautiful US Air Force base in the world before Mt Pinatubo blew up. My wife and I live in BGC now and were recently back. I found my old house, that was brand new when I lived in it. It is sad to see how bad the Phil air force has let the area still under their control get run down. I look forward to see your new videos, welcome back.

Chad where were you from in the US? 90% retirement coming up soon for wife and I at 62 y.o. and the plan is to be in PI 2-4 months/yr. But it's not easy to find info regarding living PART TIME in the PI. I think we'll just have to do it and find out. Good luck to you guys--maybe run into you snorkeling there someplace sometime.

Wow, congratulations on you both ! Good to know you're now based in Pampanga, that must be in Clark, they're saying the place will be the next PH big city just like BGC. There's an international airport there, so should be accessible ! And the road trip to Subic is amazing.

Just don’t marry in the USA
@videoshomepage5 жыл бұрын
Yes. Why?
@commenthero46355 жыл бұрын
I will tell you why. She won't want to come back, unless you're flying first class. Your beautiful hard working exotic wife will become a American girl. She will start complaining about the temperature no matter what it is. No meal will ever be good that cost under $20 a plate. All of a sudden she is telling you Philippines is dirty and hot. Instead of going to a beautiful cheap island for vacation, she wants to see France or England, or some other shit place to visit. No basic understanding of personal finance after they get to the USA. You will have to monitor and control their spending if you want to have any money. Oh, and you dam well better be able to compete with a Hollywood style wedding because that's what they will expect. I almost forgot, they will spend so much time in a mall that you will actually believe at first that they might have gotten a full time job in there. But they have not, because that would be below them, they are American now.
@commenthero46355 жыл бұрын
@Corn Bread they end up with Japanese or Ethiopian citizenship. Good luck trying to convince them of that. How many KZbinrs you see from Japan or Ethiopia taking home a hot Filopino. Forward me the links if you find them
@kevinhiggenbottom83395 жыл бұрын
Why should you not marry in the US what's the reason just wondering
@scott80ca5 жыл бұрын
@@commenthero4635 I agree with your take on marrying in the US, but it might not be much better in the Philippines if you now have her entire family with their hands out and if you give them an inch they want a mile. Plus no divorce in the Philippines and if you put some property in her name (only choice as foreigners cannot own land) she can just take it and you're left with absolutely nothing. It's happened to suckers before.
