Lost media is a very fascinating genre of content that has become increasingly popular recently but a specific subgenre seems to be overlooked. That being lost music, but a small group of online communities has helped uncover the songs and stories of the lost music.
One of the most interesting pieces of that, is The collab album, Wangsap by Tyler the creator & A$AP Rocky. If you don’t know who these are both Tyler and Rocky got their start in hip-hop collectives at the beginning of the 2010s. Tyler being from odd future and Rocky being from ASAP mob.
Since then they’ve both grown into some of the most popular musicians in the world and in 2017 they came together on the song Who Dat Boy off of tyler’s fourth studio album, Flower boy. Fans loved their collab and when they reunited in 2018 on the song Potato Salad fans were super excited, but there was something else in the music video that got fans very hyped. At the end of the music video, there was a card that said “WANGSAP Coming Soon”
This sent the fans into a frenzy wondering when it would come out and what songs would be on the project. With Tyler and Rocky being seen together on various instagram live streams and hanging out in public
But the good times didn’t last long...

I’m pretty sure rocky and Tyler were always friends especially cause of all the ig clips of them, I just think that Tyler was annoyed abt him telling their fans abt a project that really wasn’t being worked on, no actual beef just an argument probably.

nah, this video blows it way out of proportion. they were never 'beefing', but rocky was saying shit about the wangsap album and tyler was annoyed about it cause it wasnt a thing. thats it, they were still friends at this time.

This comment is before watching the video but I remember a video of Tyler saying he never wanted to do wang$ap and was annoyed rocky kept talking about it to the public . Tbh I’m glad wang$ap never dropped, if he would’ve done a collab album I would’ve much preferred it be EarlWolf but that won’t ever happen.
