I would have to disagree. By the end of season two there are already a slew of underdeveloped characters. It would make more sense to give the characters with the least development from season 2 (like Tim, Cassie, Barbra, Bumblebee, Guardian etc.) more attention.. However, it could be tricky to do this in a comprehensive way

the ONLY real advantage that Beware the Batman had was that it used lesser known batman Villians instead of using core villains like Joker. While it was interesting that they had Katana as the role of Batman's apprentice, they still should've had Nightwing in the show. It seems that, through reading these comments and from personal disappointment, almost all of the shows from that time period that were cancelled (GL, YJ, TC reboot, BtB) were cancelled due to poor toy sales. Why doesn't CN try to pull a Disney and make their own version of Disney XD? Not that I particularly enjoy the current DXD Marvel shows, as they seem to be going for cheap and dumb laughs as opposed to well-crafted dialogue and stories (though not as badly as Teen Titans GO). That aside, CN getting its own grittier, less childish station for these kinds of shows would be great! That is, as long as it doesn't get a Pickle and Peanut. No station deserves a Pickle and Peanut.

So we could still have that moment, which would be pretty cool, but really we could probably get it from the alternate timeline as well with the other Superman.

I find it hilarious that WB and CN are trying to blame us, audience members for not buying the toys for the show, but yet, they failed to do their job by marketing the show to mass audience. Back when the show was still airing, I never seen any commercials or toys of Young Justice ever. That's their fault period. Lol, there's no excuse. I mean, you said yourself that the fanbase was large and it attracted a wide range of demographics. You could have easily made a buck load of money if they actually put in effort. They just didn't know how to market their stuff to audience members other than little boys. You don't even have to do toys, they could have made posters, shirts, etc. We would have definitely bought it if they just communicated with the audience, but nooooo.

Ronan Cairns Exactly. No show would have survived the way they treated it. It only showed one day per week early in the morning in the weekends. Who the **** is up on the weekends early? They didn't market it and it constantly had hiatuses and the fanbase had no idea what was going on. In fact, I'm actually surprised it had the large fanbase it did with the conditions it was in. Even Teen Titans Go wouldn't have survived with those conditions.

Make toys for the kids and collectibles for the adults! I have the Batman Family Statue, and the Green Lantern Family statue, would have loved a decent Teen Titans, Young Justice and JLA/JSA statue. That is how you market to the adults and since for the two family statues each part cost me approx £150 and there are 3 pieces that make each statue that is £900 for two statues of one person. Instead of a set of figures which if it was Young Justice would have had Miss Martian, Superboy, Kid Flash and Robin (to start with) 4 figures at about £10-15 each so between £40-60. Easy money!

Honestly, this is just deplorable. How can WB be so short sided and now that I'm thinking about this they are and have been making absolutely retarded decisions with their DC properties ever since they took Teen Titans off the air in 2006. The fact that Toys are the reason the show was cancelled is actually amazingly unbelievable especially since people loved it so much. Young Justice and Thundercats suffered because of low toy sales. Disgusting! Also did you see the prices for the YJ toys? Fucking outrageous, no wonder they didn't sell. YJ has to get a 3,4,5th etc series it was the best cartoon in its time by a long shot. I also loved Thundercats and GI Joe renegades. Chili Sauce Perhaps that might have played a role but do keep in mind while DC itself is basically a household known company not everyone will be familiar with the characters on the show. In all honesty the only one that was recognizable by non comic readers (none of the JL members count as they aren't the main characters) was robin all the others it was basically their first time on the screen ( except i guess for Kid flash but i didn't count him because he was only on two episodes of TT)

I think it was canceled because tnt was going to start a live action teen titans show and the characters cross over. if season 3 would have came out, the storylines would surly be conflicting and confusion. so I think its the big boss's at WB shutting down the noise...but tnt dropped the show and now its open season for YJ to make a comeback if fans purchase and make noise.

Actually, Beware the Batman had a 26 episode run. CN pulled the show after episode 11 and waited about 9 months before airing the rest in the 2:30 am time slot. The entire series is available on Blu-ray.

It seems like the people making cartoons are much more condescending to children nowadays. Over the years shows for children have become more and more childish. With exceptions like the young justice and spongebob shows seem to be more like teen titans go in which the characters look like babies in adult clothes. The humor and themes of these shows seem either to be aimed at very small children or they think older children want these infantile shows more. I think kids are smarter and more mature than they think. Not only can they handle more adult shows like young justice but they seem to prefer them. Even he new justice league seems to make all the characters look like babies. This seems to be a nationwide trend that is very bad for our country. Children are being more and more overprotected which stunts their mental growth. One result of this is what you see going on in colleges. Students say college should be like a home. They also cry about everything and they think everything should be changed to please them. They complain about all kinds of things. If they don't like a show they organize and try to get it changed or cancelled rather than just not watching it. This is a result of parents who treat their kids like infants and give them everything they want due to fear of hurting them. They let them stay inside and play games nonstop instead of making them go outside because they don't want to deal with an upset child. There's already a portion of young adults today who are entitled, narcissistic, and infantile. This will just get worse unless parents start to disciplining their kids, telling them to grow up, and teach them that life isn't fair and not everything will go their way. Sorry about going off on a tangent but to me the way they do these shows is a product of a larger problem in our society.
