What the fuck is a up with Warner bros. cancelling these phenomenal fucking shows, like they've cancelled Batman the animated series, Batman beyond, Justice league unlimited, Teen titans, and Young justice. Worst of all they've replaced some of these shows with versions that are really not as good.

exactly, its too often that writers and producers think that their audience are to smart enough to understand or that the kids are not mature enough to watch the shows. The only mention of Teen Titans in any other DC show was actually in the Batman/Static Shock crossover. "Where's Robin?" "He's with the Titans." Thats the entire conversation.

CN is known for bad choices based on merchandise. Symbiotic Titan was cancelled due to low toy sales when: A) the show was still fresh/new B) the toys only featured 3 characters C) the toys sucked and kids wouldn't want them because of their lack of "fusing" like some power ranger toys

I'm 10, I'm a kid, and I still hate Teen Titans Go. I understood the original teen titans, and I really enjoyed watching it on youtube or on random websites that streamed the episodes. I loved it so much. My sister introduced it to me first, and I thought I wouldn't like it because it looked so serious. I gave it a try and the mature themes and intelligent comedy and cool action engaged me into the show. Keep in mind I was still really little. Fast forward a few years and I'm about 8 or 9, I wonder what's on cartoon network since I was bored. Then I saw Robin, and Beast Boy, and all the other titans. But this show ruined my favourite cartoon of all time... #OriginalTeenTitansForever

@@halopacific7330 Nah i seen it myself with my son and daughter. Sons age 12 and daughter is 11 they both enjoyed the good stuff. Kids are smart its network owners that think they are dumb. I shown my kids a lot of the stuff i watched as a kid. Some of the jokes are a bit dated these days but show kids Batman the Animated Series or Xmen cartoon show from 1980s or early 1990s. They will odds are love the shows its tv network that makes these kids watch this crap. I also watched Original Teen Titans with my kids given a good show i have no issue watching it with them. Wouldnt ya know it both my son and daughter enjoyed it. My kids watched stuff i liked as a kid since they were 7 and 6. As they watched stuff i liked they didnt care for sponge bob or shows like it. Such as Teen Titans GO i kinda gather Cartoon Network has been adding this stuff because its easier to make.

Whats weird is That Teen titans is actually given a shout out in Static Shock series because virgil asks Batman where's Robin and Batman responds with Robin is with the teen titans you should be seeing them soon. This was right before teen titans got their show. I was so Disappointed we never got a static shock, teen titans crossover, even though static crossed over with so many DC characters. This explains why that didn't happen.

Static shock, the Batman, Justice League, Batman beyond, and the original Teen Titans took place in the same universe There were Easter eggs to the other shows in each of the shows In static shock Batman said robin was with the teen titans

But it's impossible apparently. As far as I know, Dick Grayson form BTAS never had the time/chance to be "with the Titans" and went onto being Nightwing. Yeah the Robin in TT is Dick Grayson but I don't think TT takes place in the BTAS, STAS, JL, JLU, SS timeline. I could be wrong though.

All I know for sure is that SS episode where the "with the Titans" comment was made, was after Dick Grayson was already Nightwing and Tim Drake was the current Robin, who Static has already met earlier on in the series. Given that the Teen Titans Robin has been heavily hinted (though pretty much guaranteed) to be Dick Grayson (Nightwing when SF goes to the future, the Flying Graysons in Robins head when Raven tries to help him see Deathstroke), then it doesn't really make much sense.

James Meikle Just gotta hope the same thing doesn't happen to Steven Universe. Cartoon Network is becoming a wasteland of bad shows, much like the other networks older viewers loved. Part of me wants to blame how sensitive people are in this day and age, contributing to people deciding to stray away from showing violence, any dark themes, etc. in kids shows, replacing it with extremely simple humor that makes toddlers and young children laugh and wanna copy it. I'd say there's 2 or 3 good shows left on Cartoon Network. Don't let them die.

It had amazing story arcs phenomenal characters. And it was just amazing. I personally don't believe that they ever intended on following up on the Terra cliffhanger. I feel like that last episode was written with the full intention of being the final episode. The whole episode is about moving on and how you need to deal with the fact that things change. It's got a very melancholy vibe, and it ends with Beast Boy running into a bright white light. This is not a traditional cliffhanger. This is the writers saying that the audience needs, like Beast Boy, to accept that things change and you need to move on.

Ninten you better believe it, Samurai Jack was dark to begin with yet kids still loved it, when came to season 5, it became as dark as could be expected, if anything, when it came to all the violent content, the show was tossed, but when it comes to Adult Swim, Teen Titans will be as dark as it should be, especially with Beast Boy's thoughts of suicide, Terra feeling guilty over him being in critical condition, Starfire being shot and Robin feeling like it's his fault, even of course grisly scenes of rape, murder, the works, with all this, things will go all the way to the top and I'll be the one to bring it there

So a few things: The showrunners knew that season five would be the last season. They've stated that they had originally intended to make it longer (20 or so episodes) and even involve Slade in the plot, but they were cut seven episodes and had to make due. Things Change, the series finale, did not end on a cliffhanger any more than Angel did. Yes, it's an ending in medias res, but it ends as a statement of intent: Things Change. Terra, whether she's truly lost her memories or not, has moved on with her life. Crime (in the form of the Thing the Titans fight) constantly changes, and the Titans (especially embodied in Beast Boy) need to be there, to have their head in the game, instead of hanging on to the past. Granted it's a surprisingly mature and dour finale for the show, but there's no 'cliffhanger' there, there's no uncertainty of what's gonna happen. As to why it was ended, I'm not really sure, but it likely does have a lot do due with Cartoon Network's--especially at the time--bizarre fixation on demographic separation, similar to what happened with Young Justice. The audience skewed older and more female than they wanted, the merchandise lines probably didn't sell very well because they were woefully incomplete or unsuited to the actual audience, etc. (It's telling that Starfire and Raven got way fewer toys despite being the two most powerful members of the team and every bit as popular as the boys, if not more so.) The showrunners also went on record as saying that the reason Starfire didn't get her own season was that Starfire-centric episodes in individual seasons were among their favorites. That's not to say that a sixth season wasn't something they wanted to do, or that the fans wouldn't have appreciated it, but Things Change wasn't setting anything up for one.

Multiple individual's and personal from the show have said there was a 6th season and that there wasn't. The issue was in the segregation of toy sales; cartoons are ultimately just long commercials for merchandise, and just like the merchandise it was advertising, it was essentially split into 'blue' and 'pink' shows. It's rather unfair to use "Very young children like it" as a reason why TTG isn't awful. Young children are very easy to please. Just because a show succeeds in this does not make it "good," or even "okay." TTG was modeled after the original Teen Titans show in specific and made a complete mockery of it while the fans of the original show had never received proper closure in the first place. To make things even worse, the creators of TTG openly admitted to never having watched any of the original Teen Titans. They just took the character designs and made the vast majority of their terrible excuse for a TV show up as they went along. That isn't the recipe for a good show, and again, the fact that children like it is no justification. Children will like pretty much anything. Perhaps I am alone in this belief, but I feel that the acceptable standard for "good enough" should be a bit higher than "serves as entertainment for small children," especially when dealing with such a delicate situation.

john smith I suppose so, but Galactic KND coming back, that would be easier said than done, but of course when it comes to season 6 of Teen Titans, you can expect to see Cree Lincoln as an honorary Teen Titan and Count Spankulot joining the Suicide Squad alongside Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Madame Rouge, Magneto, Mastermind, the Toad, Avalanche, Blob, Pyro, Mystique, Black Tom Cassidy, Juggernaut, Exodus, Sabretooth, and Mammomax, the episode would even feature KND operatives Numbuhs 1-5 fighting alongside the Teen Titans and the X-men, there would even be a particular relationship between Numbuh 5 and Amanda Waller, so this will go better than you would've hoped

I don't have a theroy but I do need to say something. It about Walt Disney he once said "You're dead if you aim only for kids. Adluts are only kids grown up anyway." Cartoon Network needs to take into account the adults watching their shows too. Parents need to spend time with their with their children not just stick them in front of a TV and leave or suffer. Teen Titans Go makes me want to watch the old Teen Titans even more because of Teen Titans Go being a bad show in my opinion. Any kid who wants to watch the old Teen Titans. Go a head watch it get your parents to because they may have watched the old Teen Titans as a kid to. Who's with me?

Flame thedragon From my experience, kids just didn't know they had the option. My little cousin loved TTG, but wanted the complete original series for Christmas after we binged the first season. Haven't heard her talk about Go since. There really isn't a lot of reasons to tune into CN anymore for me. I have all of my favorite shows on DVD or Blu-ray. B:TAS, Teen Titans, Young Justice, Danny Phantom (nickelodeon), PowerPuff Girls (the original, of course). I even got DVD quality bootlegs of Fillmore! and Kim Possible (I know those are Disney but they're still cartoons that ended that I love and Disney refuse to release complete sets). I could go all day! I'll add Steven Universe to this list if CN decides to release the Bluray in my region. I'm not a big fan of digital. Call me old school but I like seeing the case on my shelf. These are the cartoons my kids will grow up watching. Walt Disney was right in your quote of him. I just wish that the executives in charge of these networks had the same beliefs as him.

Thanks for replying. It great to see your experience. I've watched most of the shows you mentioned too. Steven Universe is a good cartoon right now on Cartoon Network hope it continues. There are alot of other cartoons that are good on Cartoon Network like Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Pokémon just to name a few. I don't have kids of my own, but I do have a little cousin who's eight years old that live with my Aunt Deb. Yes I live with my Aunt. My cousin is like a little sister to me.

I think the main confusion was because a lot of people wanted Teen Titans to be part of the DCAU, and since Batman mentioned The Titans in an episode of Static Shock, during the era when Tim Drake was Robin, it kinda confused people.

on one teen titans go, (this I'd the one where remot freak threatened to shut down the show,) remote freak showed the teen titans a little bit of the previous teen titans show and the cliff hanger. Then robin said that they were way cooler and remote freak said that he regreted turning off the show. so my theory Is that they shut down the show and realized it was a mistake. knowing that it was a mistake, they made teen titans go... or something close to that. tell me that you think of it :)

hey samurai jack came out in 2001 and ended in 2004 and came back in 2017 teen titans aired in 2001 and ended in 2003 so ir should come back in 2019 on adult swim if it is like samurai jack
