I think as a society we cannot handle duality. It's so hard for people to reconcile that there is both good and bad in everyone and that both those qualities can produce a variety of outcomes. We've been raised to see the world only in black and white.

👏the last 10 minutes of this podcast is so thoughtful and amazing. It is so true people have a hard time separating their experience from anyone else's experience. Holly and Bridget do such a great job with the entire podcast acknowledging there can be wonderful times and experiences even in toxic environments. I think the world is a better place when people are free to tell their stories rather than being afraid or worrying about disrupting narratives

I had a baby shower about 10 years ago and we did a bunch of games and bought bottles of alcohol for prizes for our friends! We did a co-ed one and it was a blast! We did the chocolate candy bars in the diaper, trying baby foods to guess the kind, baby bingo, cutting the string to see who was the closest to the diameter of my belly…….diaper raffle (super great idea to load up on the diapers), guess how many candies in a jar, the guys had a race to see who could make a diaper out of toilet paper! That was so fun to watch! I love playing games and it makes gatherings so much more fun 💜💜💜💜
