I had my attorney tell me I had a drs bill. I ended up talking to the drs off and come to find out I do not owe anything from my case . So what happens now with that $ of that medical bill? Does it go back towards my settlement?? They also received the check within a day or two of settling for the amount. Im not saying my attorney is screwing me at because they might have found out too. But im just trying to figure out if I ask the right question when bringing it up

I believe taxes only apply for worker compensation cases. I believe you have to pay taxes on the income workers comp paid you.

I'm waiting on the closing department manager to review my case which I think is bs because it been a month since I settled
