Because you will get reward base on your level. My recommendation is after you unlock Ally mode. Just grind with another players until you are level 100. If you are lucky someone can do the fight for you and you will learn to do that for new players. My first time in this mode I got destroy really fast but my teammate carrying me over 10 replay. 😂 Your level are going skyrocket. I never quit to touch the flag to turn exp to skill points until the guys who carrying me are quit then when I touch it my skill point are enough to upgrade every single thing and still some left. Then start playing solo mission to get some reward at level 100+.

Purchased this game just a couple months ago & it’s great the gameplay & combat system definitely makes up for the graphics I should’ve went with this back when it released alongside Dragons Dogma 2 its a great game too but this is more my type of game

This was extremely useful and informative bro. It helped clear up some things that wasn't quite clear to me before having yet not completed the game although I don't think I'm far from it. Liked and Bookmarked. About which outfit you get from sparing or killing your Blade Twin I find you could have really told us which you get depending of which choice you make so we'll be better informed as to which choice to make since they differ in level and attributes.

Useful info, thanks! Only thing i'm wondering still is how dead characters are treated post game. For example in testament, dead and and bonded characters would appear even if they shouldn't (like taka being in edo, and people that died in kyoto visiting your house in yokohama.) Would be great if that was the case since it does so with ally missions.

3:55 "Ally Missions". Damn straight. Those guys are relentless and each time it takes a couple rounds to fully complete. If you happen to die before full completion you lose all your karma too so best to go in with little karma or do a couple rounds and pause...Options..."Return to your time" before you get killed unless you're very confident you won't get killed. Level 60? Yeah right. I completed the first run at level 62 and when I went to try the ally mission there those guys fried me. Same at character level 66-70. I'm now at level 78 and can't confidently survive all the rounds (I think it's 3 rounds of respawning enemies). When I reach level 80 and fill up more Breakthrough skills I'll go for all the rounds.

@@ConCon Actually... From "Level Sync" entry in Encyclopedia>System "When a player exceeds the mission level in cooperative play the Level Sync feature will be automatically triggered. This feature pegs the strength of the player and their equipment to the Mission Level." So, playing a level 60 co-op mission with a level 100 character with 110 gear doesn't really help since your character and gear effectively become level 60/70 during the mission. What is essential though is to have all your skills, including all breakthrough skills, maxed out.

Yes they do. And "midnight" is the difficulty. There is no easy mode for it

I am stuck in the first part of the midnight difficulty, I did finish all the missions , collected everything and killed the bosses available, I even did all the bond missions and I have taken a different answer path every time so far, but for some reason the red bar that leads me to unlock the next chapter(2) is still not filling up. Any ideas about what I might be missing? the red bar probably needs less than 10% to be filled. I am level 80. Thanks.

I had no issues clearing the whole map at lvl 60 in midnight mode you just need too time your parries correct and learn enemies combat patterns 😊

The post game is lame as hell. The story essentially becomes nioh and you go from mission back to a menu screen with no natural narrative flow that even resembles the original play through of the game. Whole parts of missions and even dialogue that occurred starting missions in the open world as well as dialogue between characters as you approach the mission area in the original game are completely cut from mission replay. And it’s a complete waste of time to grind out the story for the new costume colors and masterwork gear because replaying the story this way doesn’t play like the original play through at all and by the time you complete midnight and want to actually play the story again properly your burnt out from even attempting another play through because you put all that effort into replaying every mission just for all that gear you earned to be gone when you start a new game. In my opinion it’s better to just start a new playthrough if you want to enjoy the original feeling of the story and it’s natural narrative progression rather then the mission replay which gets quite annoying after you start to realize how much of the dialogue is cut from mission replay. I highly doubt they will ever give us a true new game plus because of this lazy post game experience but I hope they at least give us a “cosmetic” new game plus where we have all previously found gear in the redesign menu as well as being able to choose midnight to play the story over again naturally.
