? Means that it will be given an attribute that means it can’t be traded back to the place without said attribute. (Example: Let’s go Pokémon will be given abilities that in-game mons don’t have) ⚠️ Means that it has a move that isn’t in Sword/Shield and can’t be used. 🚫 Means that this Pokémon can’t be traded to the game you’re trying to put it into. Hope that clears everything up.

When there’s a problem with hacking, there should be an exclamation mark. I got a Bagon in a Wonder Trade yesterday that had a hacked Ability. Pokémon HOME immediately flagged it with an exclamation mark.

Well my friend transfered his old hacked Darkrai. Pokemon home doesn't seem to care. Spacial rend, Roar of time Darkrai :^] In-game, it won't let you use these pokemons in max raids and such.

Correction: You don't have to buy ANOTHER pokeball. As long as you didn't transfer your mew into pokemon let's go, you cn transfer it directly to Sw/Sh from the ball. What Blaines said only matters if you already took your mew out into let's go.

There is a BIG detail, when you move a pkmn to HOME, The server give the pokemon a tracker number, so if someone "clone " a pokemon that came from home, the tracker number will be cloned, and the pkmn home server will delete all cloned pkmn.

So a funny thing I noticed, if you hacked something like AZ's Floette, it also is able to transfer through Bank and Home. However when it shows in Home, it shows either a question mark or a basic Floette until you inspect it further, since its never actually used other than that one time in XY

I have a homebrewed 3ds that’s running a different thing than pkhex. I did this back in the sun and moon days so that I could complete my full Pokédex and shiny hunt. When I put a “hacked” Pokémon from my 3ds, it works but they have no sprite. I wanted to experiment a little and trying putting a obviously hacked shiny lv 100 mew in sword from my 3ds, and no sprite, no use online. While if you use pkhex in the switch, you can hack in a mew that has everything.

I have some info for people. So PowerSaves edited Pokemon are allowed if the edit is perfectly legal like it has all the moves correct to the gen it's from and the correct Ability and Pokeball caught in. The ID also needs to match all known data so that it can just if the Pokemon was real based on where it's from. Event only Pokemon like Marshadow are looking for a correct Cherish Ball Trainer ID and OT. And a correct Ability and possible moves. The Pokemon also needs correct EV training. I tried to trade a friend a Pokemon with more EV Training than allowed and i had to remove EV's with a Berry to make it legal. No ban for having it. Pokemon Home has a flag that marks Pokemon you sent to Home and looks for edits. This ID flags cheated Pokemon that entered Home one way but then entered it again edited or 2 Pokemon had the same Home Id marking it a clone and banning you. Bans only seem to happen if you hack a Pokemon from Sword or Shield and it is put in Home and then Home notices the ID does not match the data it marked. I have not been banned because my Pokemon were hacked as they could not directly say i hacked any of the Pokemon i had. I just know some were edited and i wanted to tell people that the check has not flagged anything because they all match a Pokemon that could exist. Also GAMESTP OT Celebi still passes hack check so all these years later it has never been banned. Birth Island Mew as a shiny passes and mine is Japanese so it has no errors in being flagged. Flagged Pokemon that you get in dumb ways like Wonder Trade or moving up seem to not get you banned as they can't say you hacked them and that is okay. Only real Switch hacking is banned so if you do in fact PowerSaves edit just make sure your Pokemon is legal in the ID number and OT where it was caught the Pokeball caught in the level it was caught at. The moves it has and the Ability and finally the EV training. And weather or not it can be shiny if it was shiny because some Pokemon are shiny locked in one game but not another game. If the moves are from an older game only the moves are allowed if the Pokemon could have had it. Soft-Boiled Mew not only passes the move works it's not the ! delete message. So as of now old mew can use Soft-Boiled and nothing can stop you if it was a mew from gen 3. If people have other questions i will answer them. None of my tests are on KZbin this was all me testing things in private between KZbin recordings for other videos. I hope i helped or can help more people on this topic.

The question mark is just a warning that if you trade it then it may be unable to trade back to prior games. 😊 I love how quick and easy Home is to use. I moved all my Bank Pokemon in under a minute.

I noticed that when I transferred my hat Pikachu to my Sword his PC icon was a black Pokeball symbol, kinda cool to know that because they have no data on the icon but it’s still an available Pokemon that u can still view the data and see it (hat and all) in the status screen

I have transferred my old Mewtwo and mew hacked from ORAS to Shield. I can encounter wild Pokemon and participate in raids WITHOUT internet connection. But once connected to the net, trying to connect to a raid it says "There's a problem with your party Pokemon." Anyone else manage to get them to work?

It probably have more IVs than allowed in the game. That was my problem with my volcanion I had hacked from alpha sapphire. Just use the pokemon bot in the pokemon discord chats and try making the pokemon with those ivs to see if it will let you

So.. as long phhex Pokemons aren't from Sword and shield. But you can put and alternate pkhex but legit way you catch it transferred to pokemon bank then to Home. And to Sword and shield.

I'm sorry I believe this is completely wrong. I've seen plenty of people have issues with shiny solgaleo and shiny lunala. Like Silver said, those will be fixed. I have event celebi in a cherish ball, mew from 2010 in a cherish ball, zeraora and marshadow…. all are usable in online raids. Haven't tried online battles though.

There was some kind of purge at some point. Because I had 3 hacked shiny Meltan and 2 shiny melmetal in my home and after a period of hiatus the Meltan disappeared but the melmetal stayed. I am 100% possible they were there because I had them in a box all their own and labeled as such. They were purchased off of eBay the same week as the first event for them in go. I suggest that anyone who knows or suspects that they have hacked Pokémon in their home boxes go through and make sure they didn’t quietly disappear.

I had a problem with Poke bank which caused my pokemon which I had been carrying all the way back from gen 3, to disappear. I've never hacked any of my systems and I'm afraid these are now lost forever :( I even lost the event pokemon... I was considering getting them "hacked back to life" by someone without making their stats overdone or having anything illegal added to them,(I like breeding and training my pokemon anyways) but I'm unsure. This sucks because there's no way I can get help otherwise and go through catching all of those again ....plus the ones I can never get back from events just sucks so bad man. I don't know if more people are experiencing something like this, I've only seen another user in a Twitch chat comment on it but it's just no ok.

Great video as always! After watching it, i want to ask you two questions about transfering. First of all, should i risk it to transfer my shiny to home, or is it unsafe to store them? I have heard about some people losing their mons and i'm scared. Second and last i want to transfer my void glitch shiny darkrai, my pomeg berry glitch shiny jirachi and my old sea map glitch shiny mew. Their moves and everything are legal but idk if they will go through home to swsh. There was no problem with transfering to bank so i dont know what to do, because i dont want to lose them. Bank was made MUCH better than home, it had a yearly subscription for just 5 bucks and it filled the Pokédex just by connecting it to your game’s Pokédex (you have to put the Pokémon into home to register it)

The only problem I have is my Zeraora, it's in my Sword game fine enough, but I can't use it in Online Max Raids, when I want to participate with Zeraora in my party it says that there's a problem with the pokemon in my party.

Is it legit or PKHex/Celadon, if its been obtained through save file manipulation it may come up as flagged if certain criteria aren't met. If its from the event and belongs to the OT "fula city" it should be fine and is probably a bug. It may also know a move that it is no longer compatible with, try transferring back to Home and then back to Sword and Shield and see if anything changes. Shiny Zeraora or Max IV (without hyper training) Zeraora would come up as flagged for example, since Zeraora is shiny locked and can't legitimately have 6 best IVs, the system is janky though since it allows hacked legal mons to be used from Galar. I had the same issue with my Black Kyurem, I had to use the DNA splicers to separate them and rejoin them for the issue to fix, so there is a bug affecting legit pokemon aswell. It was also affecting G-max Alcremies who had evolved from the Gmax Milcery wity certain sweets. Try the solution above and hopefully it works for you.

They aren't targeting anyone they just failed the hack checks again as per usual, besides my hacking is all done on a second switch so if they were only looking for modified save data it would catch me anyway The only thing home does is deal with cloning Pokémon that have already been used in Pokémon home as there is a new tracking ID they add to each Pokémon that gets put in home, however we know where that ID is stored and it can be deleted rendering the entire thing pointless

The question mark (?) is from Pokémon from let’s go because it’s EVs and abilities weren’t available from Let’s Go and it will give us an ability when we open Sw&Sh. The explanation Mark (!) is based off moves that aren’t available in the newer games of Sw&Sh.

I've got a bunch of hacked pokemon from HGSS, transferred to White. I don't remember what the method was, but it was someone on GameFAQs hosting something, mystery gift(?). He'd do whatever on his end, post a room name(maybe IP or something?) and everyone that connected would get the pokemon that he had selected. Checking now, a bunch of legendaries from Toy 'R Us and Gamestop events, anniversary events, movie events, etc. Some sets of each region/language. They have the right OT/ID, ball, ability, moves, etc. I'm fairly certain they'll be fine. But then there are the blatant ones, a lot of random shinies; I guess he was taking requests or something. His OT was Logic and his ID was 01337, so you know this guy was cool as shit. I'm more concerned about the former, seemingly "legit"(cloned/duped) event pokemon. If any of them, the TRU Mew and Arceus and WISHMKR Jirachi. As I did, at one point, have them on Ruby/Diamond carts, before they were stolen. And I still have the Colosseum bonus disc, but the link cables were also with the carts.

@@Malice-and-tragedy I can tell you've never lost a whole game's worth of Pokemon due to bugs. The big deal will be bugs could corrupt my Pokemon's data and then I'd lose them for good. Bugs can allow leave consoles vulnerable and considering one has to link their Switch with their email, and people can use social like KZbin and Twitter on their Switch that means those accounts can become vulnerable because of those bugs too. Forgive me if I'm not willing to risk losing my accounts as well as lose the Pokemon I worked so hard to catch because of bugs yet to be fixed

While you can bring hacked Pokemon into swsh, I don't think you can use them in raids. I tried using my shiny jirachi & a message came up saying there was an error or something along those lines. Then I used my regular jirachi & it was fine. Now I haven't thoroughly tested this out to be 100% certain but I wanted to bring it to your attention if you'd like to test it for yourself.

The ironic is you can transfer some shiny Alola's legandarys with shiny-lock witout problems, like Solgaleo, Lunala and Necrozma. Even can be transfered to SW/SH versions or traded in HOME xD

There's still a safeguard in place, a hacked Pokemon still has to pass a legitimacy test before it's allowed on bank/home. This just means it has to have all things that are possible such as but not limited to where it was caught and the moves it has. I don't agree with you thinking they are only targeting people with modified saves because most, if not all those switches can't/don't go online anyways due to already/avoiding being banned from Nintendo. In my opinion there's just too much collateral damage to innocent players if they do anything other than make a simple Legal Pokemon filter.

You do realize that their "legitimacy filter" is wonked out right? Here is an example from personal experience: I got a jirachi shiny from Colosseum bonus disc which is available shiny but takes forever to get it to drop the shiny form(resetting and redoing tut for ruby/sapphire and redoing cutscene for event over and over till shiny) now it can transfer all the way up to gen 5 with ease. HOWEVER when trying to transfer it to pokemon bank it thinks its hacked when it isnt what so ever and hasn't been modified or changed since gotten. Then when putting a shiny jirachi with the moves of special rend, roar of time,sketch,and any move it cant even learn or get and even has messed up stats of 999 somehow is allowed into bank like it's legitimate.

Johnbatista100 you just need to have your omega ruby game in the ds, then you go to bank and you transfer all your Pokémon from omega ruby to bank then you get Pokémon home and buy the premium then connect with bank and then transfer them from bank to home it’s pretty straight forward. Bank should be pretty easy to you use just push use Pokémon bank then you pick the game to transfer with and boom it’s That Easy
