How much do you do in a week in Vegas and what car you used

@ I make between $400-$550, in a 5-day week during Summer Peak Season. My car? It's a Volkswagen Jetta (Turbo) 1.5 S. Point is, I used to do $600 to $700, in that same time period.

@sergioSMTMC1 It's getting bad out here making $30 in 3 hours even if we know as they are getting rid of the full-time. Driver who wants to as a part time driver make that little bit of money 43 hours when it used to be fifty sixty or seventy dollars in three hours

We need a class action suit against Uber. They are flat out stealing. New Years was horrible. They stole hundreds in surge fees. $400 in 12 hours is unacceptable. I remember making around $800 in the past on New Years. As long as drivers continue to acccept these low ball rides they will continue to steal on price surging and mileage.

CES was supposed to be the bussiest week of the year last week. Made $1970 in 60 hours. In september in october i was making 40 to 50 an hour during convention weeks. It was a big disappointment.

The reason why they are doing it is for "privacy," they claim. There is no real privacy when they keep drivers and riders in fear of deactivation, fear of not meeting a quest, fear of attacks (so now video cameras are installed in all vehicles), fear of not being able to put food on their tables for their family, fear of not paying their rent, fear of not excepting a low paying fare, fear of buying a better car and then not getting any rides to pay for that car or make enough money to maintenance the car, fear of not passing an Uber/Lyft inspection and having to pay more for services at car dealerships. The list goes on and on. The Bible tells us to NOT FEAR 365 times. (How many days in a year?) And we are to TRUST GOD for everything (Proverbs 3:5-7) The war is real. Everything is being exposed. We are seeing the Bible prophesies play out in our lifetime. But we're not supposed to talk about God and politics in the community guidelines. That's all my riders want to talk about!! Nothing can stop what's coming, Dara K. Uber is not God, nor is Uber the 4th branch of government in the United States. Investors need to understand what Uber is doing to economies world-wide. Stop the insanity. Earth is the insane asylum of the Universe, or so it appears. Uber's contracts with drivers as "Independent Contractors," WERE MADE TO BE BROKEN. "Woe to you lawyers... everything will be exposed.. (Luke 11-12) It's happening! Is everybody AWAKE NOW? I lived and drove in Vegas last year before moving to Texas. This was pre-upfront fare. I was making between $1700 to $2000 a WEEK ($35 to $40 an hour)! We need to figure out a way, collectively, to get rid of upfront fares. When I owned my business, pre-pandemic, when the company’s revenue increased and I made more money, my employees made more money as well, not less. Uber has tripled in revenue on the backs of drivers while the drivers have taken HUGE pay cuts. Any comments on how to change this…legislation…unionization???

Facts Dave! 🙌 I drove in LV for 5 years. It's a market you have to have much patience with and you get to meet people from all over the world. I'm in a different market now and still have support tickets over a year old from LV not closed out yet. I've been asking Uber to change their business model since 2018. If any Independent Contractor would not accept a ride in the queue at the lot after 3 pings, their apps would get turned off and/or the driver would get placed at the back of the queue and Uber would start giving the rides to drivers WAY OUTSIDE the waiting lot, which is a breach of contract for First In First Out (FIFO) in the waiting lot. And we couldn't discriminate on destination but they allowed us to discriminate by a rider's star rating. Neither destination or star rating is a protected interest under any discrimination law or rule. Now the Seattle drivers have it in their HB law that drivers there cannot discriminate on destination for riders or "potential riders." "What goes on in Vegas is YOUR BUSINESS," as it should be anywhere if you're an Independent Contractor. But there are so many drivers at the Lot that will take any ride, now, no matter if they lose money, because rents and food and gas are still so high now. With no raises for drivers on base/mile/min in their rate cards, for over 4 years, and the cab industry dwindling, and the over saturation of drivers now, it's easy to see Uber/Lyft's plan to get rid of the seasoned drivers, who, like you said, probably can't get hired in other job areas because of AGE, which is a protected interest in the discrimination laws, then they entice and use the younger drivers, burn them out and destroy their vehicles, and bring in the self-driving cars. The evil has told everyone what their intention is. These app companies DO NOT care about driver or rider, so both need to care about each other. Nothing will change unless drivers and riders unite. Hope you can make time to explain this to the drivers at the Lot. Happy Valentine's Day ❤ Dave! In advance.

Sergio the true/original The Rideshare Guy “Behind the Wheel” is my favorite Show me the Money Club segment. You have a quarter of a million viewers and the ability to connect with incredible veteran drivers such as Dave. Their experience in their unique markets is very informative and entertaining, but mostly their wisdom as veteran Rideshare drivers is very inspiring. Many comments from Dave resonates with me, such as the attraction of the flexibility and the addictive nature of the job. In the past bartenders, barbers and Taxi drivers had been the ones people opened up to nowadays Rideshare drivers have the same experience many times. It’s a unique job, the only necessity is to enjoy driving and interacting with people. Yes dangerous as hell, just the possibility of an accident occurring at any moment alone is like playing Russian Roulette every minute. I’ve been driving for a living for over 42 years in San Francisco and although the pay is decreasing as currently a retired individual I couldn’t fathom doing anything else until either I or my car can’t do it no more. 😊🚙

Speaking of Vegas, a passenger one time told me that she was at Coachella and said a driver at Coachella told her that the driver and other drivers from Vegas were accepting rides at Coachella. How is that possible? Aren’t Vegas drivers restricted to only accepting ride requests in Nevada? (Just like drivers in California can only supposedly accept ride requests in California.)

Hi, I’m a 65 year old Aussie driver in Baton Rouge , 6 year driver. Here the only thing now that Uber tell me is how far the ride is to pick up so I just assume it’s going to be a $3.01 payment so if it’s over 4 mile I decline it. Lyft tells me the pick up and drop off address and how much I will make so I accept way more Lyft rides . My income has dropped about $15k from six years ago. If I drive in New Orleansi get the upfront fare with Uber.

I wish I could share my story of what Uber and the background check company did to me last year cut my app off on a mistake and identity and I had to fly all the way to Chicago to clear my name and once I did Uber finally cut my app back on but never gave me an apology reset my whole several years of service back down to a beginning driver also I live in Vegas too so I'm feeling the repercussions too even owning my own Tesla

Uber is the worst…trying to get drivers on the road with these surges but none goes to the drivers. It not a glitch at all; it’s greed. Now Lyft has been doing 50/50, that sucks but do much better than Uber. I only do Uber comfort that make sense.

i’ll tell you the biggest glitch you have in Vegas is fight club meaning all the drivers try to collect cash there’s so many drivers working for cash in Vegas it’s unreal I was in Vegas myself personally did 15 Uber rides over 10 of the rides wanted cash and wanted to cancel the ride Of course they were probably not US citizens or they were maybe immigrants or they had their own thing going on, but they did have the Uber app not a good experience with Uber at all in Las Vegas. The only experience I had Good and Uber was my own personal Uber driver the best way to get a good driver in Vegas is find a good Uber driver and keep him tied down to the app leave the app on three or four hours cost $36 and then tip the guy $200 because that’s all he’s going to make anyway have your own personal Uber guy for the whole entire night, I did it you can do it too kind of like Your own Uber chauffeur

Did you know you get drive for Lyft or Uber from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, your account will go into a mode that doesn’t allow you to do rides back. Meaning it ends up being $200 for 800 miles and a 10 hour drive.

I average 20-25 during low times in Vegas and $25-30 during summer months in Vegas. It's not as bad as people think - especially if you are doing this part time and looking to subsidize expenses. Food delivery is terrible.
