@mariahmakinen6887 I can understand where you are coming from it's more to that it's a lot been missing on both sides 🏡 not being closer and paying attention to the children not noticing their behavior and our government yes our government not being strick enough on these gun laws today it's so many hype about guns rights to bare arm's those are some of the people doesn't care about nothing but being able to have guns and also locking people up with mental illness doesn't help it's gonna hurt the taxpayers if anything get them some help it's two types of people folks observe your children actions.

I hear you… but what does it mean for prison time to “work”? Does it mean the person is successfully rehabilitated enough to go back to his/her life? Or does it mean they have successfully made the person suffer in the worst ways imaginable. If we’re talking about genuine rehabilitation so they can eventually be back in the public, solitary confinement does absolutely nothing to make someone better. Putting someone in a small dark room for days or even weeks would make a sane person crazy… imagine what it does to someone who’s already crazy… Unrecoverable mental state comes to mind.

"Rehab" is worthless to everyone except a sociologist who's recording data. No one can be "helped" by rehab. Behavior can only be changed by the person himself/herself. Texas being the last sovereign nation to join. In fact, Texas worked it out so that they can leave the union without requiring a vote from US Congress. They can make that decision in State and it is legally binding. Many others claimed sovereignty but it wasn't reconized So you think the EU should have the same laws in all countries that are part of their Union? Oh and some crimes have federal jurisdiction. That means the sentencing is the same no matter the state it occurred in. It's important to understand that you are a citizen of your state and your state is part of the Union. It used to be that people considered themselves more so a state citizen. Automobiles and trains changed that as people began to travel more and further. No matter our perception, the Constitution of Our Union has hardly changed. Most changes were objectively better and necessary to protect the core, unchanging aspects. Like The Bill of Rights.

All teen "shooters" were given "treatment" psychoactive drugs "anti depressant" and "anti-anxiety". They all also recieved "Counselling". They were groomed to become the people they became. I wouldn't doubt that they were physically, psychologically and sexually abused at a very young age. It's also possible that they were "ritually" abused. Why? Good question.

I do feel sorry for them. Look up how these people were treated before they committed the crime. How many of the people that got shot drove the killers to that by years of torment? I just got here because in my country there is a really loud case of a girl who ended her life at 16, because of 4 years of intense violence towards her at her school. I think about her a lot. And there are millions of people like her around the world. Do you ever wonder why she had to die while the tormentors get to live? Kids in this video also asked themselves this question... We shouldn't always paint everything black and white. These boys did an awful thing. But why not a single person is asking what got them to this point?

Probably you lack critical thinking. Why are inmates carry out their own justice? There are innocent people in prison, they have to deal with this. It should not be possible for mysterious deaths in prisons yet it's banal situation. The system is terribly flawled. Shooters are simply lab rats in a test to prove it.

@@waltlock8805 Far not. That would be a world of beings who are intelligent enough to understand that the existence of each depends on all of the others, and this recognition motivates them to do their best for the source of their safety and happiness: for the global community, and, of course, to do nothing that can harm that source. I am not religious at all (I am a "believer" of the empiric sciences), but I think this is what the so called 2nd commandment - by Jesus when debating with the pharisees, trying to teach them - is about as well: "(...) Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." [Matthew 22. 37-40]. This, I think, is the very same recognition I spoke above that could transform the civilization of the planet to an integrated, healthy and - I have no doubt - happy, living organism. The cells of your body do something like that, too, and they don't need guns at all when working for all the other ones, just to be safe in a healthy and strong body which only can be possible if they are not contestants but respectful and unselfish, maybe loving coworkers who are in contest exclusively with themselves. But as I told earlier, no one has to worry because the main condition of such transform barely will be given before our civilisation collapses. Unless that badass Betelgeuse goes supernova even in good time and causes a mutation that transforms us to intelligent beings and stops us debating about money, guns, recless contests and devastating wars that are just for getting all of that and forcing them to our own properties. These attitudes and this behavior, although come from our original, primitive nature, are not too intelligent and soon will cause the final end of our civilisation, which, I am sure, cannot be a topic of any debate anymore. Till then, good luck to apply yourself for more (than others). :)

I’m a 73yo Australian and I can’t recall a school shooting here in my lifetime. In 1996 after the largest mass shooting in our history (35 dead and 23 injured at an historical tourist site) our government of the time did a buy-back programme for all weapons, including an amnesty on all illegal guns which was highly successful. We can still buy guns but the difference between us is we need to have a crime free record plus no mental conditions and a gun safe is required by law. Now, as a result, we are probably one of the safest nations on the planet for gun crime. For you, you need to realise that as long as you place your right to bear arms ahead of the safety of your children, these mass slaughters will continue. We Aussies just don’t get, the NRA won’t help you, they want you to buy more!!!
