How does this compare to the keto diet? Any major differences?
@VeganEye3 ай бұрын
Great question! While both the carnivore and keto diets can put the body into ketosis by limiting carbs, the keto diet includes a variety of fats, moderate protein, and allows for some plant-based foods like vegetables and nuts. The carnivore diet, on the other hand, is strictly animal-based with no plant foods, which can limit essential nutrients like fiber and vitamins from plant sources. Both have different impacts on overall nutrition and health!

@VeganEye3 ай бұрын
Glad you found it helpful! The risks related to heart health, especially from high saturated fat and cholesterol in diets like carnivore, are supported by extensive research from institutions like Harvard and Baylor Scott & White Health. A balanced diet, including fiber and plant-based nutrients, is key to reducing heart disease risks. Thanks for watching

I am not going to complain to vegans. And not being gender specific its a blessing. 'The' 'Human' 'Body' Does NOT require carbs... of any nature. Especially fibre sugars that we cannot digest/
@VeganEye3 ай бұрын
Actually, while carbs aren’t essential for survival, they do play an important role in optimal health. Fiber, in particular, supports gut health by feeding beneficial bacteria and promoting regular digestion. Long-term evidence shows that plant-based diets rich in fiber are linked to reduced risks of heart disease, diabetes, and more. Science shows that carbs, especially from whole plant foods, offer clear health benefits

Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s great that you found something that helped with your blood sugar levels. While a carnivore diet can sometimes help people manage diabetes in the short term by reducing carbs, it’s worth considering the long-term health effects too. Many people have also found success managing type 2 diabetes with plant-based diets, which are rich in fiber and nutrients that support blood sugar control. It’s all about finding what works best for your health. Wishing you continued success on your journey!

@VeganEye3 ай бұрын
Thanks for your interest! The information in this video is based on research from highly reputable sources, including Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Baylor Scott & White Health. These institutions have published extensively on the health impacts of restrictive diets like carnivore, highlighting risks such as high cholesterol, digestive issues due to lack of fiber, and increased risk of chronic diseases. Harvard, for instance, points out that diets rich in saturated fat and lacking in fiber can lead to long-term health issues, including heart disease and cancer risks. Baylor adds that while short-term effects like weight loss might occur, the carnivore diet is nutritionally limited and can lead to deficiencies. For more on this, you can check resources directly from Harvard and Baylor Scott & White Health.

@@VeganEye Those are opinions and theories not a research. It is literally impossible to do a human nutrition scientific study. I can provide tons of those opinions and theories on benefits of carnivore diet and assure you that at some point in 5-10 years of your life being vegetarian or vegan you are going to experience a great nutrition deficiencies and health problems. You have to understand human physiology and biochemistry to see where the problem will be coming from down the road. Carnivore diet saved my sons life, tremendously improved my daughters hormonal problems and reversed my diabetes, that we never could repair while consuming food that high in vegetables. In addition to that I'm a nutrition coach and I work with cancer clients. The result I see in my clients switching from plant based to carnivore is fascinating. @@VeganEye You cannot live healthy on a plant based diet. You are fooling yourselves. Long term will cost you dearly. Deficiency is always, always associated with vegetarian or vegan diets. Always. Carnivore only is the damage was already done. Like my heart disease. My LDL was below 100, perfect blood pressure, good weight, exercising, salad every day for lunch, low fat whole grain and fruit, right up to my heart attack. I take this very seriously. My heart attack was on the left descending artery AKA The Widow Maker. I survived. Now, I am the lowest risk I have been in 15 years for heart disease. No inflammation per labs.
