I was literally having all these side effects , I work at a gas station and was drinking monster energy drinks and snacking every day. And even my meals where pizza , and other unhealthy stuff a lot of the time. I figured bc I’m a very active person it wasn’t that bad. But it was ! This video literally saved my life , guys it can be serious. I had a fever for 2 weeks for no reason , my intestines where not digesting and my bacteria was unbalanced, I woke up feeling horrible, blood pressure was always high. After changing my diet for only 3 days , I feel amazing!

Try it for a year, you'll truly feel different. I use to eat fast food every other day and became addicted. I gained over 50 pounds and my blood pressure was at 130/85, super high. I cut fast food in January. And I lost over 50 pounds, I'm at 155 now, blood pressure is at 110/70 and I feel better than ever. Also my testosterone shot up to over 800 lol. I became normal again.

"Healthy" is rather relative. But you'd be surprised what happens to a body that ate 100% super lean, super healthy foods. You get people like my cousin who can do extreme calisthenics. He has a body to fat ratio of less than 0.01%. His body constantly needs ungodly amounts of calories due to how fit and lean his lifestyle is, and he'd been on this trend for so long he was underweight and unable to store any fat. This also gave him some unusual digestive and meal time requirements other recruits didn't need when he was doing basic training in the military. I had a friend in middle school who was the skinniest kid we had. His idiot mother kept him (and his younger sister) on a very strict diet out of fear of them dying from heart health problems. Their bodies were unable to handle even a single piece of candy or a soda very well. My friend actually needed hospitalization because his body struggled to maintain a level of energy he needed; he was so skinny he had to "yawn to breath". A doctor warned he could die from a handful of medical conditions and he needed to increase his diet with sugar and sodium. His mother didn't believe him and just increased the amount of food he was already eating on his diet. Another cousin of mine (younger brother to the first), his mother worried he had some kind of super vulnerability to diabetes, and so threw him on a similarly strict diet as my friend. He had a lot of health problems evolve from this, including very limited physical activity from poor stamina, breathing issues, poor growth, and some nutritional deficiencies.

I’ve been eating pretty much nothing but junk food daily while consuming an excessive amount of alcohol for the past 3 years. Last year and this year I had to go to the ER because my pancreas was beginning to be affected. I weigh 150 lbs, I’m not overweight because I still exercise for an hour almost daily but I’m far from healthy. Let this be a lesson to those who say “I’m skinny even though I eat junk every day”, it’s going to catch up to you eventually like it did to me.

The issue in some cultures isn’t necessarily a lack of knowledge. It’s the ability of household elders to dictate the diet of the entire household, that can pose a detrimental health risk to the inhabitants of the household. This has been exacerbated by the intermittent and protracted COVID lockdowns, and it’s a particularly prevalent issue in low income areas, where cheap, unhealthy, food is more accessible than healthy food due to it’s lower cost.

I recently made a lifestyle change and cut back on, or completely cut out, alcohol, salt, sugar, greasy and fried food, dairy(aside from low fat Greek yogurt), bread and heavy starches, and most processed food. I also drink at least 150oz of water per day. I’ve never had more energy in my life, and I’m so much happier every single day. I used to eat one or two large unhealthy meals every day, and now I eat nearly every two hours, and don’t even crave those unhealthy foods or drinks anymore. I never thought I could actually stick to something like this, but I have and it’s an amazing feeling. To anyone reading this- it’s not too late to make a positive change in your life. One of the other problems is that a lot of schools tend to serve too much junk food to kids during lunchtime. They do the 80:20 thing but in reverse. 80 percent is junk food while the other 20 percent is healthy food. THAT is the big issue that schools need to fix. There are more junk food schools have during lunchtime than the healthy foods they have. They should get rid of all if not almost all of the burgers, fries, and the unhealthy kinds of lard and start serving more of a variety of salads and fruits or vegetables. I know this from my personal experience. Since kindergarten, I developed a taste and love for junk food which led me to see how much i can "stretch" my stomach and make it "grow". Unknownst to me back then, It ultimately led to me having to get a gastric bypass later in life because exercising 30 minutes a day wasn't helping me lose weight. That's also another side effect. I like to call it "Weight-loss resistance". A normal person could lose at least 10 pounds during a 30 minute exercise session a day. For me, it was like less than a pound per 30 minute exercise a day.

So I then decided to work on it by cutting down on junk food and trying to eat healthily and doing some regular exercise as that was my goal for this year. Thanks for sharing this with us 👍🏿

I weigh 315 lbs myself. But apart from my obesity I'm pretty healthy. I don't have diabetes or high cholesterol/blood pressure. I don't have any health issues apart from being overweight, and I owe it to staying away mostly from junk food as well as trying to exercise regularly. Diabetes and depression run in my family, so I have to be extra careful. I hope to get on a workout and diet routine so I can finally get bellow 300 in lbs. That's my current goal. 😁

I used to eat a lot of junk food, I’d sit at my desk working and order takeout breakfast lunch and dinner in the reg. I’ve always been active and trained 5x a week so I managed and maintained a heavy yet steady weight. Anyway.. I committed to keto and the difference It has made us staggering. Compared to how I was then my brain function, mood, energy, communication skills, motivation etc is like I’m a different person. Further evidence is recently I had a bad week and didn’t train and ordered bad food every day. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so depressed. A few days back on keto and I’m feeling great again. The only thing i would call bs about in this video was his one comment "if you only eat junk food, you'll only last a month or two before your heart gives out". Absolute garbage. Of course junk food is bad and has MANY short term and long term issues affecting health, but most people could live years in junk food/fast food alone. You may not feel great, may be tired, might develop diabetes or high bp, but you're not gonna fall over dead because your heart gives out after a couple of months of fast food. I went through a time in life where i was living in my car, and ate STRICTLY fast food, drank red bull religiously for work, rarely had water, slim jims, soda, McDonald's, taco bell, chips, ramen.. daily, for over a year, and yet here i am. I've since changed my eating habits and can attest to feeling like a whole new person since, but telling people they're just gonna die if they eat junk food for a couple months is ridiculous and a lie.

To be honest, as much as I loved junk food, I only do it in moderation, and with daily cardio by my side, it is quite intimidating to see how the body will look with this type of food only. Look at what it did to Morgan Spurlock in Super Size Me, and the challenge nearly killed him in the process. Balance is key when it comes to all types of foods.

It’s not about the Food itself that makes it “junk”. It’s in the preparation: Pizza is an italian staple, why is it considered junk? If it’s processed frozen pizza then it is junk. Pizza has meat(protein), veggies, tomato which is rich in vitamin c, and cheese rich in Vitamin D and Calcium How did White Bread become Junk and so as waffles? They all came from wheat. Ground beef is not junk, Tomato, Onions, and Lettuce are Veggies and not junk, Bread is not Junk. But put them all together then you’ll get junk (Burger)

I think it's also important to understand that some people don't have access to healthy foods and live in food deserts. So while, this is very true, this also can't be fixed unless people and places make healthy foods more accessible and affordable. We have to hold the system accountable for creating this.

Hunny, neighborhoods that are "food deserts" are usually in high crime areas with a lot of theft. It's not a big systemic, racist conspiracy that some neighborhoods don't have decent stores, it's literally because there's not enough profit because of theft to stay in said neighborhoods.
