I was in the Air Force whenever cell phones had not been invented yet. It just occurred to me that because of the level of control that they want to have over you -that you would not be allowed to have your cell phone, kind of like if you were in jail? So I googled it and here we are. Of course they take your phone away. And that's why nobody is enlisting. Aha I found the reason. Or at least one of the top reasons? other than not wanting to work for the globalist bankers and die in the banker wars. 😮

I'll be headed to Fort Jackson next tuesday for my basic, and then on to Fort Gordon for AIT. 25B. IT specialist. I'm in for a long 32 weeks of training, but I'm mentally ready for it. Been busting my ass working out and running to the point it hurts. Got my mile to under 7 minutes, 2.5 miles if I pace myself. Doing 100 reps on everything I can at about 45 pounds of weight. I know they are going to break me, it's just a matter of when, not if. I'm trying to extend that when.

Honestly man? 30min-1hr phone access time is more than enough. We were blessed with 10-15 minutes in my cycle in all honesty! The issue is, if trainee’s had constant access to their cellular devices throughout BCT, it allows outside drama and dirt from the civilian world cloud their minds and throw individuals off course. I think it causes more issues than anything you know? Leonard Wood wasn’t lenient by any means. But hey, that’s just me. Two months ain’t that big of a deal, everyone’s gonna struggle at some point regardless. I definitely did! Ain’t gonna lie.

@@TheBenAllen. remember how weird it felt to even have it in your possession? Felt like a foreign device and all because it had been so long? Lol even once I got to Fort Sam, the first week or so it felt odd.
@spicyshiba5082 жыл бұрын
I think it depends. I’d imagine for many people having their phones (after mail call, not during the training day of course) would allow them to keep in touch with close family and prevent trainees from worrying about matters back home, especially if you’re in a long term relationship/married or have a sick family member. It made sense in the past where soldiers would have to get used to no contact for long periods of time while deployed, but nowadays phones and internet access are normal even on deployment. It’s unnecessary imo but it is good to learn to live without it to some degree.

I've had more time to prepare than you, I've been working out every other day. One on and one off. But with the short amount of time you have? Cardio. Run. Every single day if you can. You'll at least break yourself in to the adversity you will face when you get in fully as far as normal running goes. Push yourself as far as you can go, and practice good breathing patterns while you run. It can really extend the length you can run. Then it's just a matter of what gives out first, your legs, or your lungs.
