In honor of my long since passed grandmother Madeline. The last two attempts for a baby girl with my wife ended with another boy. If we had had a baby girl that's what we would have named her. Also wanted to put some money were my first comment is. To give a little help to Nicole with what will surely be a challenging first year for her and the little one.Thanks for bringing awareness. I feel sad for the little one to be. There is no dollar amount that can be placed on a little soul who will always wonder why their biological father abandoned something so precious. If you could add this amount to Niclole's running total I'd appreciate it. Having a 7,5 and 2 year old at the young age of 53 I know every little bit helps. Merry Christmas to you guys as well

Oh and if Your friend takes the guy to court, the Philippines has child support laws now and its enforceable in Canada by international agreement.
@LegalAutomationАй бұрын
I hate when people say this. Yes, on the most technical level, she theoretically could get child support IF the father actually acknowledged paternity and is on the birth certificate, and IF she had the money to afford an attorney in the Philippines AND she had the money to pay an attorney in the U.S. to domesticate the Philippines judgment at the appropriate local court in the U.S. It is NOT easy or even realistic for 99% of people to get an enforceable child support judgment if the father lives in another country. It takes considerable money to make this all happen.
@ST-TVАй бұрын
Since they are not married it's on her to prove that he is the father. You can do it by him signing the birth sertificate or by paternity test. A test that he needs to agree to. So most likely no, it's not gonna happen.

I don't think her hearing impairment has anything to do with her problem, that she got pregnant. He was in a dating relationship with her for 2 months, so he was probably was well adapted to her hearing disability. I did not like the way some of this was presented, as you said it is a hearing, not intellectual problem. I understand the difficulties people with hearing loss have to deal with. For example people sometimes get frustrated with you, not understanding that you just can't hear them. Especially if it is not obvious to them that you have difficulties hearing.

Well, I would tend to agree with that assessment for the most part and I can also totally understand why people would be so outraged at this guy's shameful behavior. I think the only reason I am not more outraged about it myself is because I have just become a bit desensitized from hearing hundreds of similar stories from girls in Thailand, the Philippines and other Southeast Asian countries over the past 35 years. Of course, 98% of the time these stories involved local guys abandoning the woman when she got pregnant and not a Westerner. That being said however I always tend to take it more personally in cases in which the deadbeat dad turns out to be a Westerner because I just hold us to a higher standard, I guess. Anyway, since this guy is living in the Philippines, he should know full well by now that if a Filipina gets pregnant there is pretty much a zero percent chance that she will opt not to have the baby despite her less than ideal circumstances and so he should be mentally prepared to take responsibility for this eventuality whenever he has sex with a woman there. Either that or he should move someplace like Japan where there is better than a 95% chance that the girl will opt not to have the baby in such situations. I have actually been responsible for a few unwanted pregnancies myself, but I was always ready to take full responsibility should the woman decide that she wanted to have the child. And now that I am 65 and have no children, I sometimes secretly wish that these women had made a different decision back then.

Through a law clinic in Manila they got immigration to pull up pictures from that day at the airport and identified him as an Australian citizen. Their laws are similar to USA..... with PH authorities and the Aussie courts confirmed paternity and docked his pay all the way back to the date of birth, sent her a check for those 10 months and now his pay is docked P23K each month for child support and will continue that to age 18. USA laws are similar and the courts very swift....it's all the girls that get pregnant by Korean's or Japanese where those countries laugh at the girls and deny all responsibility along with the perpetrator. It's easy to throw around blame but she consented too, remember that. The sole blame I believe falls on the outdated abortion laws in Philippines. It limits their options and forces them to birth all pregnancies. Low sex education further fuels high unplanned pregnancy rate. Vasectomies are still not a safe option for men with the high chronic pain rate (1 in 20) so contraceptive pills and abortions are the only valid options.

It's an opinion. A responsible person doesn't have unprotected sex with someone they aren't certain they are on birth control unless they accept responsibility for the consequences. There's no doubt the lady bears equal responsibility but look objectively at the chain of events. They make contact He he continues to talk they meet get intimate she gets pregnant tells him he decides to up sticks and moves to Cebu. I give him some credit for offering 4,000 pesos but that's dependant on his actually paying her. He should take responsibility 1. Take a DNA test 2. Sign the Birth Certificate 3. Offer what financial support that he can. 4. Offer the child the chance of Canadian Citizenship. Irrespective of any age there might be there's clear evidence he took advantage of a less than worldly wise young woman with at a significant disadvantage. I don't disagree about the legislation regarding abortion there but it's widely known and does not, I my view mitigate anyone's actions here.

As a Canadian, I am appalled at this man's behaviour. I would hope people don't generalize about Canadian men. There's bad apples in all cultures. I am so disappointed in Paul, and this vicious "Jerry Springer" type video. Paul has made mistakes in the past, but he did seem to at least try to get both sides of the story. Paul hopefully next time you will think before you try to destroy someones life? Reading the comments it seems like Paul has turned many people against that guy, and many seem out to get him. Paul you should be ashamed of yourself. I remember during the "John" saga, Paul posted one side of the story at least in the beginning. People heard John's side of the story, and saw him as the victim, and his Pinay GF as a monster. That was until after so many months of shaming caused by Paul, the Pinay finally agreed to come forward and give her side of the story. After we finally got her side of the story, and more facts came in, .. people saw that John was more to blame. Paul too bad your need for gossip & viewers, caused so much trauma and unfair shame to a person. Paul I would of thought that you learned from that mistake, and would never post that kind of story again. And at least never do that with only one side of the story. Paul, you recently made a video on how you got scammed on a real estate deal. You admitted that you were foolish to let yourself get charmed by the contractor who scammed you. Is it possible that the girl in the video just scammed you also? I will explain ... I have many very good Pinay friends who are very protective of me. Whenever I talk about going to the Philippines they always aggressively warn me to be careful. They tell me many Pinays will try to bed me hoping to get pregnant & hook a rich Western man. Interestingly out of all the scams to watch out for, the Filipina women see that one as the most common. I have been told the same thing by many expats, watch out many will seduce you, and refuse the use of condoms. They think that will guarantee them western dollars. Just like I repeated told you, and the people commenting at the time; Wait until you hear the other side of the story. I have found out through experience that people who tend to speak out publicly on their relationship problems, are often the most manipulating, or bitter. And the story most often changes when the silent party gives their side of the story. You have most people feeling sorry for the girl, and angry at the man. Isn't that similar to the way the John story started? You presented the girl as being a victim? Yet she willingly had unprotected sex with a man who was in a casual type relationship with her. At best that makes her 50% responsible, not the victim she is portrayed to be. A hearing problem evokes sympathy, but has nothing to do with the situation. I think that has confused some into thinking she has an intellectual handicap? How did he take advantage of her handicap, lol? few things to note. 1- A person in the comments said in your first video with her, she said she only wants to date Western men. I have not verified that, but if it is true it does tell us something, She may not be the innocent Pinay, that a white man corrupted? 2- When you asked her she said she is happy she is pregnant. Does that not indicate that she may of wanted to get pregnant? 3- She said she thought the solution was to get married? Maybe he did not want to get married? My experience with Pinays is once they expect marriage, and if you don't want it, the relationship disintegrates, and it is time to get out. To say he just abandoned her because she was pregnant is unfair. Was the only option she gave him at that stage was for the expectation of him to marry her? How did she respond to him and the situation? What expectations did she put on him? What expectations or situations did her family put on him? I would really like to hear his side of the story? Break ups are difficult, it is possible that her reaction/expectations were at least partly responsible for the break up. She said it was a casual only dating relationship. If she was expecting him to marry her because she was pregnant, it is possible that was what he left her for? The other thing is that she has not had the baby yet. That situation is very stressful, especial between 2 different cultures. He has sent her the 40 dollars each month. Maybe he needed to get away for awhile, to figure out how to deal with this traumatic situation? People are commenting on how he abandoned his baby? Newsflash! The baby has not been born yet. We don't know what he will do when the baby is born? Maybe then he will want to be part of the babies life? Maybe he had to create some distance, ... for example if she emotionally was in a place with him that she and the baby are a package deal. Kind of like how John often confused his relationship with his girl, with his love of his baby. He had a lot of trouble separating the 2. Paul have you not learned anything from your recent real estate fiasco? Or the way you publicly dragged John & his gf into such a humiliating situation? Paul have you not learned to stop with your assuming, and to verify your information yet. It was one thing if you do it to yourself, like in your hiring of a builder, but at least stop dragging other people down with your unproven assumptions. Paul when you asked the girl if he would acknowledge that it was his baby she answered she did not ask him, and does not know the answer. Your response was "I am going to go out on a limb and say no". In the comments a person asked you a question, and you responded that you never met him. So what gives you the right to assume his response? Sadly you are so willing to smear the character of a person who you never meant based on a wild assumption. Actually many wild assumptions. The guy is 52 years old, not on a pension, and probably no income. We don't know his budget? For all we know he could be surviving on $400/$500 Canadian dollars a month, which is valued around 60 cents per USA dollar. Maybe $40 per month is the best he can do now, for that unplanned pregnancy? I imagine he at 52 years old may be living on the poor? We don't know, you should not assume. Maybe he does not trust her family, and will try to buy the baby milk, etc ... like you did for John's wife? We really don't know what he is thinking, reacting to, or what his plans are? Maybe even he does not know, or has not figured it out yet either? Paul, you kept praising the girl, and telling how cute she is. Maybe you were blinded by her looks? You also said you will filter comments, so as not to offend her? Too bad for the guy there was nobody to filter your offensive unverified judgemental comments on this video ... "MR, AMERICA" repeated 100 times! Paul someone should do a video on you and call it "men behaving badly". It could be all about the damage you do shaming people through your gossip, assuming, and unverified information. You made a video blaming a man for abandoning his baby. Yet his baby is not born yet and you don't know what he will do? There are many angles to this story, but you only chose to smear, and assume. I am sorry for Mae, about the fact that you guys got scammed, but perhaps in your case you got what you give? Because of your petty gossip, we can see in the comments that some people want to hunt that man down.

@@paulinthephilippinesolddog9234 The other thing is she was not working and only in a casual dating relationship, it was totally irresponsible of her, as well as him to get pregnant. Why are you glorifying her? And why are people wanting to send her donations? That will only encourage and reward irresponsible behavior. More Pinays will get pregnant, expecting rewards.
@jameswelch1054Ай бұрын
Both people involved were irresponsible, not using birth control, resulting in her getting pregnant. She is 21 years old, an adult, not a child. Was it even an accident for her? She said she is happy she is pregnant, and looked giddy when she talked about her baby. Why so much ragging on the guy, and glorifying the girl? The girl had no job, no income, and was living off of her father. Then she has unprotected sex and gets pregnant. Now her father will have to support his pregnant unwed daughter. You literally praised and glorified that irresponsible girl, and made the guy out to be a deadbeat. Why would you glorify that girl? If he is a deadbeat? What is she? Her Dad will have to continue to support her, and her baby, and where was her empathy for him? She basically seemed thrilled that she was pregnant, and showed no concern about other people having to support her child? It seems like the guy may be living on a very limited budget. The money he is sending her monthly, may not seem like much to a man on a pension from the USA, but maybe it is a lot to for a man who is living on the poor without a pension? It may not be much, but at least he is contributing something. She is contributing absolutely nothing to support her child "ZIPPO". Between Him, her, and her parents, she is the person who has taken absolutely no responsibility for her pregnancy. Why would you glorify her, make her out to be an Angel, while you make him out to be a deadbeat? She can giggle all she wants, and play the victim, but in my mind she is the biggest deadbeat, and most irresponsible person in this situation. What was her purpose of this video? Was it too pressure him to come back to her, and marry her? Why are so many people acting like she is totally innocent in this matter? Is people sending her donations really a good idea? Will that make her more responsible next time? Or will it just encourage her, and other Pinays who observe the situation, that it is okay to be reckless and get pregnant, because dumb foreigners will reward you with donations? Maybe other Pinays will see that, and look for their payday also. I am not trying to praise the guy. Both people made a mistake, neither should be glorified for that. The girl is not a hero, or innocent victim. Neither is the guy. The only innocent victim here, is the baby. Sorry, the girl may be "good looking" but that does not give her a pass on this ... Another point on this I have heard many Expats, Pinays, and even the Filipina Pea (KZbinr) talk about, is that it is very common for many Pinays to keep, or maintain a back up BF, out of insecurity. We even see that point a few times in the comments for this video. Because of that often men have doubts/questions when their Pinay gets pregnant, as to if it his, or her back ups? I am not accusing her, but he may have some doubts, or uncertainty? We don't know? Maybe he will ask for a DNA test? Maybe he will get involved when the baby comes? The baby has not been born yet, he probably is trying to adapt, and figure all this out right now? He may not have the financial resources available, and is trying to figure out what he can do? He may take responsibility for his baby, but at the same time he may be struggling on how to deal with her, the drama, and her desire to marry him? If she won't let go of him romantically, that will make the situation extremely challenging and difficult? Is she mature enough to give him the space he may need to be involved with his child, without her trying to tie herself into that as part of the package? If she can't let go of him romantically, that will conflict with his ability to be active in his childs life.

Love this channel, its the new Jerry Springer show revived. At 16 million single mums in the Philippines, she has joined an elite club of women.

And Paul is raking in the money, at other peoples expense.

@jameswelch1054 well that's how it works. Jerry always played the Victor but his show was sleazy but profitable.

@@MrBatteryChanger1 Also Paul lost a lot of money from that contractor. He can make the money back, by throwing an innocent person under the bus, ... great for ratings.

@@MrBatteryChanger1 Funny thought. The Springer show always ended with DNA tests with surprising results. Imagine they do a DNA test and find out that the Canadian is not the father, instead it is Paul. Did you see the way Paul was fawning all over that girl?

@@MrBatteryChanger1 I will give Paul credit. I don't think Springer ever came up with the idea of having a "name the baby contest" in the middle of a paternity dispute.

@ST-TV Most don't know whom the real father is, but there's always a neighbour that knows all the secrets 😅😅
