She walked in right as Jason knocked that kid's head off on the roof. She was crying laughing when it landed in the dumpster. Here's the awesome part of the story. A few months after that, this huge dude at the Indianapolis Airport told her he'd never seen a kid that young with a Jason necklace. It was Kane Hodder, who played Jason multiple times including the Manhattan one. He was cracking up when she told him about the head part, and LOVED that she named her puppy after him. He took pictures with her and gave her an autographed one. He added: "To Berea, my biggest little fan. You have a horrible father!!!" It's still on her wall to this day.

@@cuylshepherdton7437 Actually, after going back and watching it again knowing exactly what is going to happen there are a bunch of other points as well where Magnus gives it away a bit that I didn't really pay attention to the first time, including a few random times his accent totally slips (like around the 14:00 mark it sounds just like him as if he forgot then the next time he speaks it's like he remembers to do the accent again) or he moves in ways only a climber would naturally move. You're right, somehow I didn't catch that the first time! As soon as he starts the V5 it definitely confirms it but I didn't realize until I went back and watched it closer the second time how many times he makes it obvious early in the video too lol. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the guy caught on pretty early but played it cool, it's exactly what I would do if I were him and I figured it out, I wouldn't say a word unless he confirmed it at the end. He seems like a really good sport about it either way, bet he's a cool dude.

That instructor was superb. He showed no ego at all with the prospect of a beginner out-classing him, and he said and did all of the right things (and correct things) to be encouraging and helpful. I'm as impressed with him as I am with Magnus.

That big swing and falling flat cracked me up so much 😂 That was so well done. Coach was a really good dude too! Awesome job with this video!

What an awesome video !! Tristan is a great coach, he explained the basics so well !! And Magnus, you played the beginner climber so incredibly well, it was amazing. The bad footwork, the heavy breathing, the hips out, the falls… fantastic job

the footwork was actually so accurate xD

The way that he continued to support him even though he couldn’t finish the climbs himself🙏🏼

That showed such awesome character. Tristan is such a class individual as well as terrific coach.

What an incredible teacher and advocate to gently guide what he perceives as a novice climber into more difficult tasks. This teacher needs to own his own climbing facility and he's an incredible example of what teaching, patience and encouragement can do for a "beginner". This guy is brilliant. Someone needs to give this man a raise and a promotion.

it's cool that magnus remembers what it looks and feels like to be a new climber. he holds his breath. he keeps his weight on his bent arms. he keeps his hips and body facing the wall. things like that. after climbing for so long at a high level, it would be easy to forget what a new climber struggles with.

This is such an underrated comment and observation and I agree 100%. It really is amazing how Magnus gets this all right

@@jaytarot5000 agreed. It's easy to lose the beginner's mind. He was absolutely making things harder for himself on the beginner stuff by doing that too.

@@jaytarot5000 It's my hope one day, I can reach such a high level at something that people praise me when I'm purposely trying to look bad 😂.
