Phenomenal evil has worked the same way since beta. It procs every time an ability to damage. Hence why your damage overtime ability gives you so much AP and why brand gets so much AP. He has always gotten that much ap in this game mode from that. You guys should know this as I've never played arena and I've only learned about arena from watching your games lol. Love you!

If you haven’t played don’t say something so confidently. Your just wrong… it used to do that in beta, but when they released it with 16 players they changed it to a cap of once per champ per ability. They recently reverted it so damage over time effects get multiple procs again.

Ioki's confusion on how Phenomenal evil works is bothering me on a personal level. It procs whenever your abilities do damage, so DOT champions can proc it consistently, brand and malzahar burn can proc it continuously as long as they burn them, And to make it not as broken as last arena, it now has a one second cooldown to get you a stack instead of no cooldown, otherwise brand and malz and Morde would get 2000+ ap everytime they get it

Just FYI when using malzahar ult you need to use E and W first. If not you're basically just ccing them. Most of the damage from using ult comes from voidlings and e damage as they cannot dodge anything

I’ve decided that ethereal weapons on anyone who can build lifesteal items is insane. Lifesteal applies on anything that applies onhit effects unless stated otherwise in the ability. This means you any lifesteal item you build is essentially omnivamp with this augment. So cool.

Phenomenal evil has worked this way since arena began, its applying off your dot and works exactly as the augment says "whenever you deal damage to an enemy champion with an ability gain 1 ap" every dot tick applies the effect. unfortunately it doesnt apply to every ability dot for every champion (doesnt work right on teemo e) and it doesnt work on minions cause they dont count as you as far as the augment is concerned.

I think phenomenal evil was bugged at the beginning of this iteration of arena. It used to proc on DOT but wasnt until the last patch. I ended up getting 2400 ap on singed a few days ago

They didn’t change phenomenal evil? It’s worked like that in every iteration of arena. The tooltip literally specifies when an ability deals damage…. Therefore every time your burn deals damage you get ap. Edit: don’t worry Ioki. An ezreal with 15% accuracy will do way more damage than a malz who doesn’t use his e and w before ult.

Phenominal evil has a 0.75 second lock out per ability , if you have a 4 second dot you will get 5 stacks,makes insanely good on people who have dot passives that proc spell effects sucha as Lillia, fizz, brand. kinda teemo but only his ulti his e doesn't proc spell effects.

First of all, Doomsayer was literally removed, second of all there's never a time when getting minionmancer on a champ that can use it well like malz, zyra, yorick, etc isn't the most fun choice. What you wrote sounds like good Veigar augments, not Malzahar
