There’s nothing old about Timbaland’s music lol Tim was making the type of music that is hot right now, back in 97. Go back and listen. He’s actually too musical and has too much feeling in his stuff for today’s music. But that’s what we need, FEELING back in music.

*Dr Dre should've given Scott Storch his deserved credit. I realized recently that all the beats I thought Dre produced were actually Scott's*
@eman08285 жыл бұрын
Bro theres a HUGE difference between a *Beat Maker* that just make beats vs a *Record Producer* that Produces finished records. Just because you make beats, don't make you a Producer. A Beat Maker is a Composer as they are considered Songwriter's. A Record Producer is an Ochestrator as they are like a director in a movie that oversees the entire production of a Song to its final mix. They direct oversee and control the recording sessions. Dr. DRE, Scott Storch, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland are all real Record Producer's like Quincy Jones as they don't just only make beats. They are Hybrid Producer's wearing two hats known as *Record Producer / Songwriter's.* Scott Storch wasn't an acting role Record Producer for Cry Me A River or Still Dre as he was hired as Co-Writer to Compose the keyboard parts as he was only credited as a Co-Writer. Dr. DRE was the director that oversaw the recording project and programmed the drums. Scott declared in an interview that Justin Timberlake was Timbaland's client as Timbaland approached Scott to work on two songs on the Justified. Basically Timbaland hired Scott Storch to Co-write Cry Me A River as the Composer which is why he's only credited as a Co-Writer. Timbaland was the Ochestrator and programmed the drums and and provided background vocals. All the main recording was done at *Westlake Recording Studio's in Hollywood California and then Timbaland traveled all the way to Phillidepha and hired *Larry Gold* to write the String Arrangment. The String Arrangement was recorded in Larry Golds studio performed by the *Southwest Chamber Orchestra.* Timbaland then brought the sessions back to California for his Engineer *Jimmy Douglas* to mix it.
@eman08285 жыл бұрын
@@DrewRycerz Scott Storch gotten his credits if you look hard enough, you will see his name in the *Songwriting credits.* Scott Storch wasn't an acting role Record Producer for Cry Me A River as Timbaland hired him as the Composer to Co-write the song. A Producer on the other hand is like a director in a movie that oversees the entire production of created to its final mix that has input.
@eman08285 жыл бұрын
@@DrewRycerz His name is in the credits if you acutally took the time and look. The whole beef was Scott Storch wasn't getting his Publishing net for the song. Scott Storch was properly credited for his work as he wasn't the director controlling the recording sessions as like I said he declared in an effort Justin Timberlake was Timbaland's client. All other records Scott Storch has produced , he's credited as both a Producer and Songwriter. He's a Hybrid Producer just like Pharrell, Timbo, Dre, Rodney Jerkins as they don't just sit on their asses all day and just make beats. They don't send beats out to people or sell beats, they produce entire finsihed songs with the Vocalist in the studio that sees the whole thing through.
