3 live Crew!!was legit awesome!!! It was one of the first groups I started to really like when I first started watching TNA it was literally them and team Canada for me. I thought the group had potential. It was clear it was built around Ron killings and trying to get him over. I absolutely hated the way that it ended. I mean it's like the go-to thing for every group. They all have to feud with each other which at this point is beyond played out. Can they come up with a more creative story than if a group has to end? They all have to end on bad terms and wrestle each other? 🙄

I actually live in Nashville and was a pretty regular attendee at the weekly ppvs. The humor absolutely made sense to me, but it absolutely limits your audience. Also, speaking someone who regularly worked the southern indies around this time, that type of humor and booking was a way of life here. It’s like all the southern promoters shared one sense of humor.

In hindsight, the 3Liv Kru did fulfill its purpose. All three were good on the mic, even if the content they were given to work with were not. Of the 3, obviously The Truth turned out to be the best of the bunch, albeit not with Impact. While he did not win the World Heavyweight Title per se, just look at how over the now-named R-Truth has been over up North. I always felt Konnan was better as a heel with his look and promo style, and him breaking up the team was the logical choice. Plus, the Latin American Xchange became one of the most over heel acts, being rather fresh despite riding the coattails of real life controversy. These days, though, unfortunately Konnan got into the "crazy old man" act, if you know what I mean. BG James got the short end of the stick career-wise, but overall, the fact that Triple H brought him back to coach upcoming talent in promos highlights just how good he is at the mic. As a writer, meh, it's a mixed bag, but when it comes to cutting promos, he's one of the guys to consult.

@@petesmart1983 I'm usually anti-woke but I agree with Pete. All the black WWE wrestlers at that time were all minstrel show characters. Tyler Perry might as well be the booker. There wasn't even a black WWF/E champ until Kofi in like a couple years ago. The Rock isn't counted as one according to WWE records/history books. That other World Heavyweight title(big gold belt) was demoted to second tier around 2010ish. Teddy Long was Fred Sanford/George Jefferson.Mark Henry was being billed as a silver back gorilla and told by Michael Hayes "I'm more of an n-word than you". Booker T went through that racist angle with HHH just to lose at Wrestlemania, then becomes champ as King Booker only to be buried by HHH again and ran out of the company. Cryme Time, R Truth, the funkasaurus and many others lol. The only time they have black men on WWE presented as dignified alphas was the Hurt Business and Vince put his cigarette out on that with the quickness.

I was definitely a fan of 3 live kru. Especially cause of konnan from wcw days nWo & filthy animalz then for moment little crazy in early tna cause of the Lucha . Bg was with dx & new age outlaws & the Armstrong family. Theirs killings had almost everything the look & in ring & personality for any gimmicks as we learned to love in wwe. Killings nwa world title as a heel was awesome which wwe would’ve done something. Putting all 3 had some decent moments. I wish killings focused more in the heavyweight division while bg & konnan was use more in the tag division. Of course konnan in ring did start to go down hill but still enjoy seeing him out there.!!

Here comes Billy back into the picture like or dislike but seeing bg & Billy back together was cool. To bad when they started back together Tna waited to give us an interaction with the Dudleyz & steiners. I believe wwe should’ve done something earlier though. Konnan turned and lax was born which was good. Konnan could work the mic well at times and the chemistry of homicide & Hernandez was good. Ron k started to be left out a bit. When jj/hall/Nash was together I figured 3lk would be the perfect group for them to feud with. Instead it was Hardy/styles/Randy s/killings a bit.! Savage should’ve came in as a mentor role instead of a wrestler. Who knows how things might play out.! Kings of wrestling vs Hardy/styles/killings or 3 liv kru seems better then trying to get savage back into the ring. I think savage could’ve join the commentary team at certain ppv’s as well. After Ron k heavyweight title run I would’ve totally enjoyed seeing him compete just a few moments in the division.!! Killings & Joe & Hardy & styles & Daniels & monty b & abyss definitely few others was should’ve been the focal point with a few veteran talents like Jarrett & sting & Booker t . Now looking at impact/tna it’s crazy what they had back then compared to today!!
