After careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion that in order to be successful these games need to keep these as either a power-up or easter egg 0:06 2:22 3:52 6:14 7:00 7:10 7:22 7:32 8:10

This should totally be an annual event. Also modifying coin drops to be 1000 is the right way to do a money cheat.

tl, dr; This should be normalized. What i mean by that is, while the 'increase loot drop' ones feel uninspired (still fun sprites, tho), some of these are genuinely good avenues for opening up new design space. Like, i would be shocked if the tetris one doesn't become a new game mode or 'challenge level, or cities being invaded by herds of cats isn't a new game concept by the end of next year. And while not suggesting 'going over the top' as a design choice by itself is for every game out there, this all but confirms that playing around with numbers as in 'increase by x factor' should be a normal part of game development; and shared regularly, and often, and more, please

Emulating Breath of the Wild, combat would run at 5-10x sometimes. Ruined the game for me, because the actual combat was so boring compared to super-juiced combat.
