They sent me the same one. I really like it! I wish they had the framing option for conveyor large though.. that was a bit annoying. I assume they'll add it.

Man I missed that video, I'll have to go find it! I'm excited to play with it some more. Really nice that it's a 2 in 1; These lasers are getting pretty advanced!

@@RedBeardOps My settings are 2000 dot duration and 40% power at 500 dpi and you won't get that funk you need to sand off. You can do 3 passes and it's nice and clear. If you up it to 1000 dpi its REALLY clear but it takes too long.

@@TyrellKnifeworks That's interesting... I'm using an SVG not a PNG or JPEG so I don't have the same options (just power/speed/dpi). I'll have to drag in the PNG version and see how those setting compare. Thanks for the tip

Damn, I’m glad I watched your video! I have been so frustrated that I can’t cut on the conveyor belt. Now I know I can! Thank you so much! This puts jobs within my reach that I couldn’t afford to do before because I would’ve had to have bought a bigger laser. You may have just saved my business.

I really don't like the idea of a galvo laser for cutting as it's going to leave an angle on the edges especially as you get thicker.

This is true! Good point... when I do my leather project I'll have to try to measure this.... I wonder how pronounced it will be on 1/8'' leather... maybe I should try to keep all my cutes as centered as possible.

I didn't think you could cut in the conveyor mode (because it would burn the belt). Is this a new feature or has it always been capable of this? Like everyone else, I'm hoping Xtool will sell a metal cutting plate to cut larger pieces just like the regular F1. Thanks for showing this feature. I had no idea it was capable of this.

Hello sir! I rigged this with the score settings... just put in the cut setting there and made my own cut plate. I think it could always do this. Cutting with a Galvo isn't perfect, but I plan on putting it though it's paces with a leather project coming up.

The only thing stopping me on a laser is I would only have room inside the house and ventilation seems to be a big necessity on these.

Batch mode positional accuracy on the conveyor still sucks, xTool should be ashamed.

I only tested it for that one run of circles. I did notice a couple of them not being perfectly centered. With a high dollar material, that would be unacceptable for sure.

It does seam funny... I'm hoping they change that in the future. I notice that people using this machine with PNGs/JPEGs and bitmap etching don't have the same problem. Maybe some other changes can be made to the engraving settings of SVGs like I used to make this a non issue. The nature of beta software I guess...
