Thyroid Gland is very important in our Body which is located in front area of neck below adam Apple.
It's basically associated with energy production and our body metabolic rate.thyroid produces mainly T4 also known as thyroxine which gets converted into its active part known as triiodothyronine or T3.
The control of the thyroid function is from the pituitary Gland section I.e TSH and pituitary Gland is located in the brain.
Many people though don't know but are suffering from underfunctioning of this very important Gland and that is called hypothyroidism.

Thank you Dr. Sahab, very good information. I’ve hypothyroidism and also taking medication . Quick question after taking medication all of these symptoms should go away? In my case I don’t think so, though I do my test every six months. Should I visit Endocrinologist ?

Respected dr. I have most of the symptoms as you mentioned by my TSH Level is 1.87 in normal range, and T4 level is 15.6 in normal range -- these test were done in full blood routine test by GP. Pls. advice if I need to get more investigated on thyroid glands
