I agree with your Dad about the foaming hand soap for cleaning the glasses it is brilliant. I have exstremely oily skin and the stuff that the optometrist hands out doesn’t work. I have been using it since 2019 and only recently replaced my glasses.

I too use the foaming hand cleanser to clean my eyeglasses. I haven’t tried your dad’s technique to let it dry and then rinse. But just spraying both size and soaping up with your fingers and immediately rinsing gets them cleaner than anything else I’ve tried!
