I was just listening to you saying you are not sure why people enjoy your Chanel so much. Well I can tell you it’s like visiting a couple of dear friends every day. I am currently sitting in my armchair with a big chopping board on my lap chopping veggies for home made soup. You keep me company for a bit, I get myself set up with my coffee etc and just pause you each time I go for a fresh ingredient 😊

That's not to be recommended when shopping at M&S, for although some items have yellow reduced labels on them, most are more expensive than other supermarkets, but generally better quality, and a better shopping experience. Pat is usually on the ball, but yesterday was all out of sync.

Michaelmas is the celebration of St Michael on 29th September, which is one of Englands ‘quarter days’. It celebrates the coming of autumn and St Michael is the protector of dark nights. Great video as always. ❤️xx

Layer up the clothing, central heating, and I reckon I'd be staying in bed (hibernating) until winter is over. I feel for the poor canal people, stranded as they are. Looks like they're receiving some help. M&S are doing the same as our supermarkets here (or we're following their example) putting in self service checkouts, getting rid of 5 or less items checkouts and now ordinary checkouts are on the way out! Ba humbug! Progress.. And, they keep moving things around just to confuse us into buying something we don't need. That's why my wife shops on-line, it's delivered to the kitchen table promptly. "She who must be obeyed", got her leg brace off yesterday afternoon. Now she's got to get it moving again. We need a physio to help her get up and down from chairs. Keep warm, see you soon. Cheers.

We don't get that many days as cold as this Barry. We are having to keep the heating on all day. I usually turn it off about 11am until about 5pm. The authorities offered to put the canal boat people up in a hotel, but they declined the offer. Hopefully M&S will do a proper job, and make it even better. Hope your wife gets on better now that the leg brace has been removed.

It's hard to explain. We know we are talking to a camera, but a dog or a cat wouldn't know that at the other end of that camera were 4500 people. They would just see a couple talking to a device, but we know you are there, and that's who we are talking to.

The rim on the new one is a thin edge while his old one looks more like a rock pool with a wider, rougher edge that he can get traction on to climb out??? Hi Trevor and Pat its Helen regarding my stoma it must be the old fashioned calamine lotion in a bottle not the new stuff which has glycerin in it. I just wipe it on the skin leave it in a few moments it dries white and the bag sticks directly onto it. It works because there is a dry bond for the bag to seal to. 3 years and never had sore skin. Keep up your chats.

They said they could do it at 11.30, and it had to be a fasting blood test, so that would have meant waiting two and a half hours without anything to eat or drink, so Pat decided to come back next week Sue.

Happy new year to you both and the family. Just wanted to share my GP recent contact as maybe useful - I logged into my NHS app on my phone, and clicked on “contact GP about a health problem”…..via PATCHES. Filled in the questionnaire about my health (mine was just a flare up of my skin) attached a few photos, and it said I would be contacted by my GP or healthcare professional. The next morning my Dr rang me and after a quick chat, she issued a prescription for me to collect. It was a brilliant service and I hope this is now an easier way to access my GP, as not all issues need a face to face appointment and this was super quick and I didn’t have to stress about getting an appointment or missing work time. Anyway just thought I’d share my experience…take care x

That's good news. I have that app, and used it yesterday to get some information, and it worked. I too, like you Betty hope when I need some help from a Dr, that I can use this service and get the kind of response that you did.
