I appreciate this interview. I am 54 years old and have been dealing with chronic pain since I was 11. What God has taught me, is that there is this great gift exchange. I offer Him the praise He is due, regardless of how I feel, and in return, I am gifted with His peace. When I start praising God for Who He is and what He’s done, He becomes so great in my view and my problems become so small in His presence. I appreciate suffering, although I don’t always want calamity 😂. I long for heaven and the relationship with my Saviour that will be unmarred by sin. People think I’m weird, but when my dad was dying of cancer, I told him that even though I would miss him, I was so excited for him to meet Jesus. Christ is our goal and our reward and I can’t wait. Have a very blessed day. ❤🇨🇦

Amen, and I agree 100%. Little under two years ago, upon awakening, I believe Jesus touched my heart. I woke up feeling more joy and peace than I ever thought possible. It was unexplainable. It transformed me, and I have not been the same person since, nor will I ever go back to who I was before that transformative morning. I had been trying to learn about God, but I was lost. I had actually fell asleep holding a Bible that I found in my house that I didn’t even remember was in my house. I was reading through it that night, but nothing was making any sense to me. I remember I started crying but I was so tired, I just fell asleep. Jesus says to seek Him, and I did, and I still feel like that one lost lamb that He came and found. I tell you, once the Lord touches your heart, you are never again the same, and I thank Him continually for finding me. Thank you again, my precious Lord and Savior! I love you too! ✨💖💪✝️🕊️💖✨ Jesus is so tangible and real and amazing. Just wow! ✨💖🙌🥰💖✨ ✨✨✨✨✨

I can assure that people aren’t having fun in HELL!
@LifeasaLEOWifeАй бұрын
Yes! It breaks my heart to hear that people think they can party there. James tells us that EVERYTHING good comes from God, so hell is absent ALL of that. Breath, sleep, being full or not thirsty, moving with ease, conversation, not being lonely, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, self-control, being able to see with ease, light, hope, happiness, being with family & friends, & so, so much more. Please, anyone who hasn't yet, allow Jesus to take that punishment for you! He did it for everyone if you only accept it. It's a free gift, but like any gift, you have to reach out & take it. God doesn't want anyone to go to hell. The Bible says it's not His will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (repentance means to change your mind- make a 180° turn) (2 Peter 3:9). We need Jesus because all have sinned- everyone! - & fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). We all make the decision for ourselves where we will spend eternity when we either choose Jesus or reject Him. I'm sure most people watching this have already made a decision for Jesus, but if you haven't, I encourage you to pray with a completely open heart, asking God to reveal Himself to you, to block your fleshly feelings & the enemy, & He will if you are open to Him. Read the Gospel of John to get the full picture of Jesus' ministry, passion, death, & resurrection. (The ESV- English Standard Version- translation of the Bible is easy to understand & is available on the YouVersion app or the Olive Tree Ministries app where the Bible is free, but you can purchase the ESV Bible commentary for only $4.99- that's how much it was when I got it about 8 mo. ago. That helps you understand any verses that might be confusing, but it's not required; you can just get the free ESV Bible on the same app. Olive Tree also has all of the cross-reference verses shown by clicking on the little letter next to a word &/or any translation differences they may have used & you can see the other word/phrase option by clicking on the number next to the word. Both apps have reading plans thru the year or a few months, etc., buy YouVersion has more devotional plans. They both have their plusses. You could get both if you can't decide lol!) No one can work their way to Heaven, or "be good enough" to get there on your own. The only way there is to ask Jesus for the gift of His completed work on the cross. A few salvation verses. if you want to dive right into those, are: Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-11.13, Acts 16:30-31, John 3:16-18, Acts 4:12, John 14:6. Those are just a few. Praying for everyone who needs Him, which is ALL! Much love to you, & hopefully we'll meet on the beautiful other side this brother was talking about in this video!

1:00:35 It is not only unbelief (or rejecting Jesus) that inhibits a person from going to heaven. The Bible clearly states that people must FORGIVE all who have harmed them so that the Father can forgive that person. Look: Matthew 6:14-15 (New King James Version) 14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Forgiveness is very important. It’s just a decision, and it may be hard for some people, but think of it like this; would you have the person who harmed you also throw you into hell for eternity? You want to give that person your whole eternity??? No. Forgive them, and turn to Jesus. HE WILL heal your heart. (That is also scriptural.) ✨💖💪✝️🕊️💖✨
@mR-dc4oqАй бұрын
No one can pretend to forgive with the hopes of a reward- same for belief and love of Christ. God is looking for an authentic heart. Forgiveness is possible, but in some it takes time, pray to Jesus and He will show the way to forgiveness. Compassion and understanding for and of humanity is part of what allows that. How many know and understand we live under the yoke of Adam until we accept Christ? Once that is understood the light bulb can turn on.
@Matek-k2dАй бұрын
imo forgiveness comes through God - a fruit of faith, that's also why it's not a work - if i am right, then that means that a born again christian would forgive people in the long run while crucial, its not a "requirement" for salvation (imo)
@s.d.melcherАй бұрын
@@Matek-k2d Matthew 6:14-15 states otherwise. Understand what the “trespasses” means, but most importantly, look at the spirit of what that passage is warning about. The Father forgives us when we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior *because* Jesus paid the penalty for all sins for all people. I understand that, but the passage does say to either forgive others or the Father will *not* forgive us. Therefore, I see it as a commandment, at the very least.

@@olivevideogamesThere are no labelled 10 commandments. Of course, we can assign those labels to the verses after the fact. It’s also interesting to note that this passage is significantly different in Deuteronomy. But I’m not sure what this has to do with whether Christianity is true or not.
@russellmiles2861Ай бұрын
@@olivevideogames I appreciate that most Christians dont bother to read their own sacred texts. But I have; if you'd care to look at Exodus 20 2-17 and count the Thou Shalts... There are 13. In you go to Deuteronomy 5 there is a list of 19 Commandments that Moses is said to have brought down to the mountain. There are two places where ten commandments are referred to in the Bible but they don't offer an actual list. And in Matthew 22:36-40 Jesus mentions the one of the Mosiac Commandments - they shall honour the Lord they God, but the second reference Jesus states isn't in the Moses code: but one of the over 600 commandments in the Bible: most of which are rightly ignored by Christian churches, with a few rejected. Most churches reject a couple of the Moses code as they describe women as private property like livestock - probably why they rewrote the 10 Commandments to leave that one out. Best not to debate Bible texts with a Trainspotter - we love details such as the N class was a 2-8-2 configuration giving a axel loads of 17 cwt and better grade traction than another other on the Victorian Railways

People are unhappy because we live in a sin-cursed world. The stories of Gilgamesh and Noah are similar but this can be explained by seeing they are two different accounts of the same event. I don't think one necessarily has to have been the original and the other the plagiarized copy by default. There are flood myths all over the world and they all share a lot of similarities, many from cultures that had no contact with each other.
@seanpierce9386Ай бұрын
Jesus never taught about Heaven as a place that ordinary people would go. It was a place reserved for divine beings. Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God, the new Israel. It was intended to be an incredibly local thing. Most doctrine surrounding the afterlife and the acceptance of gentiles arose after the fact, especially from Paul. Nothing they’re saying here is Biblical in the sense that it came from Jesus.

Redeemed souls were kept in "Abrahams Bosom" below the earth across from the top chamber of Hell. But Jesus went down there and took them all out before his resurrection. We get to stay in Heaven (if we're saved) temporarily until the Hell and the Earth are destroyed and Earth is remade for us to live with God for eternity. As was initially intended before the original sin. New Jerusalem will be the capital city there, then.

Gentlemen, you are assuming the thing you are trying to prove. You’ve got to do better than this. Non believers don’t believe what the Bible says so quoting the Bible really does not help your argument.

It depends on the topic and who the target audience is. Heaven is more a doctrine to defend than conclusive proof of the religion. This is a defence. The Bible actually serves as a constraint on the resolution, which can produce contradictions, depending on how conservative the person is.

@silverfire01Ай бұрын
@@ryanbrown4053 I disagree as we dont know if the bible has been edited over the centuries after being put together from various documents/ scriptures so a prophecy could have been written after the event we dont know. A prophecy i dont agree proves anything as often prophecies are cloaked in vagueness so that it could be applied in various scenarios. An old testament prophecy is still part of the bible that is being used to claim Jesus was the messiah or son of god. I had a discussion with someone else on another post where they quoted isaiah which said propheised King Cyrus i think it was so the reasoning was that if that is true that means the whole bible is true or more likely. I pointed out that conversely if there are untrue stories in the bible that could also mean that other stories are untrue or at least inaccurate also including any prophecies . Also we dont know if the new testament account of Jesus could simply be based on the old testament prophecies i dont know. This is why we need more verification than a book .
