If their hp is in red and only one hit away, you can strike and kill them in one blow while they’re about to attack with a blue or red attack. Makes for a better cinematic combat style instead of just repetitively blocking or dodging and then waiting your turn against every single attack. There’s quite a bit of nuance there if you pay attention closely. You can also bait a reaction with a faint by canceling your attack with a block, works well against shield bearers who try to parry your sword but then realize they left themselves open. There’s quite a bit of depth to this combat system.

@@rachidnasirHeads Up Display, basically all the bits you see around the screen, the indicators of things. You can go to settings and remove them all so it’s like a cinematic display. Hope that helped
