Here are the real things I did to overcome my anxiety. While walking through the incredibly beautiful Blue Mountains!
Throughout my whole life I have struggled with crippling anxiety.
People always said that I seemed like such a happy and driven individual. Always going after my goals and dreams. How could someone like that struggle with anxiety?
I have always been great at masking my anxiety, I can tell you that. My interest in body language helped me seem more confident than I actually was. My whole nervous system was so overwhelmed, and my body was stuck on survival mode. My anxiety prevented me from doing so many things in life. I have always wanted to dance, sing, do public speaking, make videos, exercise.. But it was never possible. Now I can actually say that I can do these things, and I freaking LOVE IT. And life is so much more beautiful. I can finally be myself. And damn, that person is so much cooler than the one I was trying to be.
So here I list the real things I did to overcome my anxiety, and how I started living my beautiful life.
If you're interested in walking the same Blue Mountains trek, here's a bit about that:
Started from the Scenic world in Katoomba. Walked through the Leura forest path to the Three Sisters. The journey took around 3 hours with some detours. And 900 something stairs one way. 🤪

That is so beautiful. I hope to visit Australian someday. I try to hike a lot but where I'm at there aren't many trails. When I do find trails I'll pack some water, apple, and take a book like "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels and I'll hike for hours, find a place to relax and clear my mind of anxieties. Nature and silence are powerful healers.

I agree 100%! I love that routine. When you're surrounded by nature, you can come back to yourself and to your body. You can let go of the racing thoughts and return to stillness. Nature really helps with that. And even if there isn't the perfect, most amazing viewpoint right next to you, just going somewhere where there is some grass and trees will do it. I sometimes get caught with "not having the perfect nature spot" close by, but that's just limiting yourself. There is always some place near by where you can connect to nature 🧡
