Did your college have options like this school? If yours was like mine, I got the Freshman 15 straight off of late night pizza and fried foods... So would you try this?

Brought me back to my college days at St. John’s. they only did Italian food right. Everyone only ever got the penne ala vodka pasta. Not sure if that’s still what people ordered

I do a soccer camp at umass where we get all you can eat at the dining hall its really good

Torta ahogado means that it's soaked in sauce!! This looked to be super dry by your own account.. Btw, chile de arbol sauce was used anytime I ate one aaaaand wooooo-weee!! Talk about delicious - super spicy, but deeeelicious 😋

As a former UMASS student, i cannot believe that this is rated as "the best DC food in the US"....how is that even possible? The food is sketchy af.

I went there and graduated 20+ years ago. The food halls are definitely a step above from my time there... But when you are comparing workplace canteen quality vs chicken patty hockey pucks it would definitely be comparative better

To be fair, as a Mexican, a torta ahogada is supposed to have a hard bread (birote/bulio) like that because you dip it in a hot salsa. My fam is from Guadalajara where the dish is from

As a senior at LSU trust me when I say for college cafeteria food this looks amazing. The best part about our dining hall was the salad bar

I work at UGA.. (Go DAWGS!) -- 12 bucks all day long for the best food in the south.

Which dining hall did you shoot this video at? There are 4 different dining halls on the campus. Hampshire, Worcester, Franklin and Berkshire

Berk is the only DC that has the award. Not the whole campus. Though it still sucks. But better than Amherst College's surplus powdered eggs for breakfast.

Pretty sure UCLA has been best for years. I've been to Cornell's (visiting someone) and it was insane. But the price was in the $20s. So maybe $12 for this place ain't bad

I study at UMass and all dining commons here are terrible. 2/10 At most. Also there is no chickfila or any chain fast-food around the campus so you are kinda stuck with their shiity food.
