What I designed for my Honours thesis project

Showing you what I worked on in my final year of my design degree, including my major project/thesis project/whatever you wanna call it. This is a look at my last year as a student so you can see the level I was at when I entered the industry as a designer (I got a part time in-house design job in my last semester of my degree).
I started at Massey University Wellington in 2007, and graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Hons 1st class) majoring in Visual Communication Design and minoring in Graphic Design in 2011.

I’m in my fourth year just now! I’m also working in industry and just trying to get my hand in done. A lot of my work are external client projects which is great but I wish I’d taken this opportunity of my last year to really play with something that was fully mine (don’t know if that makes sense). I’m also sad that we’re not getting a degree show and our graduation is postponed but I’m glad that I’ve vlogged almost every step of my design journey since college (you may have inspired me to do so aha) So thank you so much for sharing your work from over the years it makes me super happy and excited to think where I’ll be after I graduate 💜

Loved this series! As someone currently studying at Massey I can say it hasn’t changed all that much - the electives you took throughout are still here and the major project is still... major. Thanks for sharing!

Kudos on the series. I'm a web developer trying to do more design work and this series has been very informative about the breadth of what can be done within the realm of design. I'm pretty jealous that you've been able to keep things more or less organized so that you were able to go back and find things you worked on. I'm still trying to figure out an appropriate file organization scheme that works for me.

I am in my last semester in graduate school! I just submitted my final project. I was working on two things- a prototype and a course for early childhood educators! So often in this field, we do not have time to reflect on our teaching practices, so I wanted to create something that would encourage teachers in this field to build a community! But once I submitted the final results, I feel like I didn't put all the functions that I wanted to because I had to make so many adjustments to the current situation :( But after watching this video, I think it would be cool to look at my other projects form my undergrad lol
