If I am allowed, I want to share something that my Pastor’s wife shared with me and other moms. She said, “God allows parents to not be perfect because it teaches our kids to have a dependency on him. We don’t have to be the perfect parent. So take the pressure off of yourself and allow God to be bridge between what they need and what you lack.” I love her wisdom. She is married for over 40 years with three adult children and they all love God and serve God. They all are leaders in the church, leading missions trips and more. Her words were so comforting to me when my children were younger. God’s grace is sufficient for us all. PTL 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Someone once said that Control comes from a place of Fear. What do you fear that makes you want to control your spouse and children?

Heather, I am you and this is so real. We control in order to get stuff done but men don’t see it that way. 😩

Really nice episode. Your husband is just so laid back 😂😂😂

on a serious note though: Spoiling your kids is a recipe for disaster. They will grow up to be self centered, inconsiderate adults who will think that the world revolves around them and them only.
