@@emilyg8774 I’m not really understanding that question since the first day of your bleed you don’t actually take the hormonal pill, it’s called a sugar pill that you take! But if you’re asking in general if it works right away I would ask a professional because I’m not certain on the answer other than probably not until your body goes through your entire cycle of missing your period! it’s been probably over 10 years since I’ve been off of it!
