I love rebatching my soap shavings and the small piece of soap left from the bar. I get lots of really nice creamy lather 🥰😃.
@EllenRuthSoap2 жыл бұрын
I totally agree! They do have a great lather!

I think spumoni soap is a good name for your rebatch soap😁

Ellen you are my favorite KZbin Soaper. I am very impressed with your soap making knowledge. So thought you would be the best at answering a soap question. Which additives would be best for anti-aging? Particularly fading age spots on face.

Thank you🥰. It's a tricky thing in the "soaping world" because I can't make any claims about soap other than it will clean you🤣. I would suggest researching the skin benefits of walnut oil (a personal fav), aloe vera, turmeric, and different milks... Hope that helps😉

Lovely! I was thinking the other day when I watched your previous video ‘hm Ellen’s bucket is getting full, I bet she does a rebatch soon.’ I love my recycled soaps too - they always have a ton of lather!
@EllenRuthSoap2 жыл бұрын
They really do have the best lather❣️ Yup, when the bucket gets full, it’s time to rebatch 😉

I really love the way these look, awesome how you used your trimmings. Do you label your soaps ? I’ve seen where some do and some don’t.
@EllenRuthSoap2 жыл бұрын
I don't label or sell these ones. But I do label my regular bars that are in my shop.

That is a nice looking bar... what is the dilution rate of the titanium dixode you use? If you don't mind me asking.
@EllenRuthSoap2 жыл бұрын
I use water soluble TD, and it’s 1 part TD to 2 parts water

I just don’t get that great of a lather with this melt down process. They come out smooth and beautiful looking, just not a great lather. Have you ever tried to dump the soap scrap bucket into another new batch of soap? the lather seems to be so much nicer. 😉
@EllenRuthSoap2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I've made confetti soap before and loved it.

I love how people call their rebatch soaps “carpet padding soap”

🤣 I haven’t heard that one, but that’s exactly what they look like😂
