Well if they aren't making themselves visible, how are you sure there are other humble models out there? I've never seen any...without proof you can't expect me to just take your word for it FA.
@FA-cx6dt6 жыл бұрын
Danie F They are making themselves visible... YOU just haven't seen them.The world is much bigger than a single opinion or your life experience thus far. I have friends who are models and who have been doing it for years. I'm talking about who model for high end brands. Some of the most humble and smart people I know.
@Quarksi6 жыл бұрын
Again, you're just expecting me to have faith in what you're saying. The thing about making a point, is that you often need proof... something that you obviously can't and won't give. (And really can't. Otherwise it would be doxxing) Therefore until these "a lot of other models" start making a point to counter the norm the industry likes to put out, people are going to continue to think people like Alexandria are rare and they are justified in believing so. The world is bigger than your own scope and any self respecting person isn't going to change their opinion simply because you "insist" otherwise.

Having studied nutrition, I can say that typically your diet should consist of about 65% carbs, 25% fats, and 20% protein, so you're right, we don't generally need a ton of protein!

@samr10137 жыл бұрын
LMAO yes I meant 55% carbs not 65. +Monkey D. Luffy you just gave ranges whereas I gave the number which is approximately in the middle of the ranges, to simplify it. I learned the exact same ranges you did. I wasn't "slapping an extra number on nutrients," I made a typo.

I think the emotional healing is the toughest part of the raw journey. It can put us through hell at times, and many people just don't want to face it so they go back to cooked foods. It takes work to reach inner peace and emotional stability with all the crap coming up when you stop numbing yourself with sub-optimal food.

The models of the 80s with unhealthy lives and drug addiction are of the past replaced with animal rights activist, vegans even and just beautiful souls as well as faces. This really gave me some insight as to what "healthy" looks like. Obviously not EVERYTHING you ate was healthy, but there was a good balance here. You ate PLENTY of foods you like to keep you full and satisfied. I'm trying to lose weight right now, but my "healthy diets" fail a lot because i'm just not eating enough and i'm not eating enough foods that I like. I feel like a lot of people think they have to starve themselves in order to lose weight and be thin, which usually ends up backfiring. No matter how thin you are, your body NEEDS food and a sufficient amount of calories for proper brain and body function. I definitely feel A LOT less fearful of taking in more calories and eating healthier foods that I like :)

Seeing your channel showed me that I can be beautiful and thin at the same time. Your makeup videos showed me that I can do makeup without owning a ton of expensive products. I used to feel bad about my diet because I saw all these youtubers with such extreme diets (there's nothing wrong with that, it just made me feel unhealthy that I wasn't able to eat like them) and your videos showed me that it's okay to eat sweets and snack on things sometimes. I love how you explained that people should eat to be healthy and to fuel themselves instead of to be thin! I think everyone is beautiful, and should focus on eating to give themselves energy through the day, instead of dieting. And I'm glad people agree!

I love that you don't let fame get to your head and act fake. You're so sweet and awkward (not in a bad way). I hate when people make noises when they eat too. 😂 your flaws make me happy and I can see that you're real.

After watching KZbin videos for years although I love the advice and seeing the lives of young women my age I find myself suffering with extremely low self esteem and feeling like I am doing life wrong due to the fact that I do not own all of the highest branded clothing and make up, drive a brand new 2017 vehicle, live in an immaculate Instagram apartment or casually talk about my healthy, organic eating routine as if it was cheap and affordable for the average person. Your KZbin channel is like a breath of fresh air seeing a girl so in love with her life without needing all of this superficial stuff and being happy with the simple, little things. You've reminded me that the most important part of life isn't what you own or how you look, it's being happy and in love with what you have already and that is what makes you beautiful. Thank you Alexandria. :*

I liked this video a hell of a lot more than I expected to. I loved it, actually. I didn't expect a model to make me feel so good about myself lol I actually eat almost the same diet she does! Although I'm wondering--does that zatarans rice have beef or chicken stock in it? Ive looked into those boxed pre-seasoned rice mixes before and very few of them are vegetarian
@AllmmurrA7 жыл бұрын
ErinWantsToPlayAGame if you have anyway to go online for your supermarket (so like a Walmart website?) you can probably filter for a vegetarian friendly one which you could then find in the store?
@Novemblr147 жыл бұрын
Jess Thomas oh, I'm not worried about finding the vegetarian zatarans rice myself. I was only wondering for Alexandria's sake because she says she doesn't eat meat :)
@kavitagracenelson86707 жыл бұрын
It is:) I'm sure she's done her research on what things are vegetarian anyhow.

my brother showed me how to cook/steam sweet potatoes in the microwave. I always hated how long it took my oven to preheat and how long it took to cook the sweet potato. What I do now is wash the sweet potato, make some cuts with a knife in it or poke some holes in it (huge sweet potatoes I cut in two), wrap them in wet paper towel and put it for 5-10mins in the microwave (time depends on size of potato and performance lvl of the microwave. :) you can also do potatoes or carrots etc. like this. This method has saved me so much time !
