Thank you for this video! What about having collagen and an egg in your coffee? Or do we have to eat first?
@MollieMason2 жыл бұрын
@@tegangilchrist4550 Hey Tegan, so that's a great step towards a more metabolically supportive coffee (always with protein, carbs and fat!) but I'd still recommend trying to get some food in *beforehand* if you can. I talked about food density in today's video and this applies similarly. In the realm of good, better, best - I'd say adding collagen and egg to coffee is better, but eating it AFTER food is best 🤩

I was struggling with what to do since I wake up at 5am most days and use that quiet time for my soul and can’t imagine cooking and eating a full meal during that time even though that’s the advice for the pro metabolic lifestyle if you want to nourish yourself and your adrenals and all that. The collagen in oj is so doable! I could also do a yogurt and fruit or a smoothie. I’d like to eat around 7 when I feed my kids.

Aw yes mama, this would be a perfect way to still get some easy fuel in! Infact, check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqC2g2B5gtR7Y6M This is how I've upgraded the OJ + collagen to something even better and it would still be just as easy for you! 🍊

I recently discovered your channel and have learned so much! You say to eat something within 1 hour of waking. I take thyroid medicine first thing with lots of water and need to wait an hour before eating anything. The first thing I’ve been consuming every morning is coffee with milk. I never knew this could be harmful! I’m going to try switching it around to eating some food first, then having my coffee.
@MollieMason2 жыл бұрын
Yes Kristen, I'd love to hear how you feel when you try that switch!! And you might have already watched it but check out this video for more info on this topic: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqC2g2B5gtR7Y6M

Aw thanks Rachael! So glad you found your way here! And thank you 💅🏼 Yes this was a soft almond shape with dip on my natural nails - I asked for a modern french tip - it was actually a little thicker than I wanted but it looked good as they grew out. I would be so hungry eating this little, especially eating dinner this early. I have to eat my dinner around 6:30- 7:30, or I'm so hungry couple hours later and starving by the time I go to bed.
@MollieMason2 жыл бұрын
I think this is probably more food than it might look (I typically eat 2100-2300 calories a day) but if you need more, a bedtime snack can be great! You'll see in other videos I often do a yogurt bowl before bed.

Is pro metabolic eating good for those with chronic Lyme disease?
@MollieMason2 жыл бұрын
Prometabolic eating can be supportive of any body because it’s focused on nourishing our cells! You might need some specific Lyme support but PM can always serve as a foundation - it’s always about healing the root cause of the illness and supporting the body from the ground up.

Hey girl, awesome video!!! I have a question, can you do the detox drink everyday or just some days? I’m going to start a Candida cleanse to finally help heal my gut health for better skin and just over all health, and I’m interested in this detox drink sounds amazing!!!!❤️❤️❤️ also I forgot, what are the amounts of everything for the drink? Thanks
@MollieMason3 жыл бұрын
Hey Ana, you'd want to check with your provider, but generally the ingredients in the Liver Lover should be safe for daily use. This drink would be a great addition to a candida cleanse! It's the juice of half a lemon + a full dropper of chlorophyll + about 1/3 of a dropper of the milk thistle. Let me know how you like it!

How do people put collagen powder in cold drinks? It turns into a clumpy gelatinous mess for me. I even struggle with hot drinks. I can definitely taste it, even though it's supposed to be tasteless. I don't get it...
@MollieMason2 жыл бұрын
Quality collagen should dissolve well, but if you have issues with that you can add it to a tiny bit of warm water to dissolve then add to your cold drink. I do that with my Adrenal Cocktails: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqC2g2B5gtR7Y6M

Do you take thyroid medication or did your program put your all symptoms into remission?
@MollieMason2 жыл бұрын
I'm almost completely off my thyroid medication! 🥳 Healing your gut microbiome alone is not enough to heal the thyroid, but it's a very important step.

@@MollieMason that’s sooo awesome!! Congrats on almost being there. I’ve been doing prometabolic eating about 3 weeks and decided to stop taking my progesterone I’ve been on (which my functional nutritionist encouraged the past year). And my next hope and goal is my thyroid! I hear reducing it in 25mcg over time as it feels comfortable is a typical redection method so the thyroid can learn how to try to make it on its own gently-is that what you’ve heard as well? Loving your channel! God bless you-I’m also living for Jesus!

Would the OJ first thing spike your insulin though? Hmmm 🤔 Interesting routine! 🥰👍
@MollieMason3 жыл бұрын
That's actually a common misconception! After 9+ hours of fasting, your liver needs glucose and if you don't supply it through food it will make it from your own stores, which causes a cortisol spike. Protein works to oppose the spike so by pairing it with the collagen, you're providing glucose without a big spike.

I’ve heard and read that chlorophyll isn’t used by the human body. I’m curious what you’ve seen that it does for us?
@MollieMason2 жыл бұрын
There are parts of plant fibers that can't be used by the human body, but chlorophyll itself is great for supporting the liver in detox. 🌱
